So, I've gone 'off piste' a little bit today, but I came across this little phone hack, which you may already know, but for me, it's a game changer when I'm typing my notes and make a mistake. I had no idea where the undo button was?!
That'll be because there isn't one - so if you make a mistake that you want to undo on your iphone, then give it a little shake.
Try it - shaking your phone will cause the prompt 'undo typing' to appear. Click on undo and you'll be back to where you were. 📲📱

Do you really need to be on every social media platform?!? The answer is a big fat NO! ❌
Questions to ask yourself: 🧐
❓Will the platform support your business missions and goals? Don't get caught up in the FOMO of everyone jumping on a new platform. They are time consuming to manage, so choose the platforms wisely.
❓What type of content will you be posting. Each platform has its unique way of marketing your products and services. Check out how to best communicate with your audience on your chosen platforms.
❓Think about the time and resources it will take to create the content i.e. Tik Tok. How long will it take to create a reel. Are you able to post them regularly. Content creation on Tik Tok is different to other social media platforms. Do you have the manpower.
❓Who is your target audience? Are they hanging out on the platform? If not, there's absolutely no point in you being on there either. Do your research.
❓How will you track your progress? What are you trying to achieve? New followers, new sales, for example. Regularly check your analytics to see whether your strategy is gaining your new followers or sales and if not, assess and tweak until you reach your goal.
It all boils down to what is best for you and you business. ✅

Print off a calendar and fill it out a month in advance with ideas that fit in around your content pillars, (In simple terms, content pillars are a handful of interconnected topics that a brand focuses on when publishing posts) so for example if your content pillars are:
✅Educational
✅Motivational
✅Engagement
✅Community
✅Promotional
🌐Then map out your content pillars on your planner so for example:
👍Monday - Educational (educate your audience about your service or product)
👍Tuesday - Motivational (make a video motivating your audience or add a motivational quote)
👍Wednesday - Engagement (ask your audience a question that they can respond to. Always comment back)
🙌You get the gist. A content planner is a super easy way of planning your posts ahead, saving you time in the long run.

🤩 Make sure your social media profiles and bios are up to date. A small tweak here and there could make a big change to your platform's performance. Take advantage of all the different ways Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter allow you to personalize your page for your business.
🤩 Don't make your posts too salesey. Include a mix of personal content, promotional content, and inspirational content to keep followers engaged, and make you more relatable. Educate your followers, inspire them, and make them laugh. Show them your brand has a personality.
🤩 Be consistent with your posting. It takes time to grow a following. You don't have to post every day, but you do have to be consistent. Social Media LOVES consistency.
🤩 Mix it up - try out reels and stories! REELS and STORIES are very popular and produce great results.
🤩 Don't forget to use #hastags. You can include 30 hashtags in a post and up to 10 on a story. Bear in mind, that you don't have to use all 30 hashtags. The general consensus is 11 to start with.
🤩 How many times have you messaged a business and haven't had a response for days, if at all? The frustration, annoyance, and the tendency to go elsewhere are real. Make sure you reply to your customer's messages promptly.
🤩 ANALYTICS!! , If you are a small business trying to figure out what is and what isn't working for you on social media - then checking out your analytics regularly is a MUST. Track your social media metrics from the back end of your platforms to see what posts work well for your business, then adjust according to the stats.
🤩 Remember to post links or calls to action. Point potential customers in the right direction, whether it be your website, landing page, downloadable document or a simple direct message. Make sure their journey is a smooth one.
