So, I've gone 'off piste' a little bit today, but I came across this little phone hack, which you may already know, but for me, it's a game changer when I'm typing my notes and make a mistake. I had no idea where the undo button was?!

That'll be because there isn't one - so if you make a mistake that you want to undo on your iphone, then give it a little shake.

Try it - shaking your phone will cause the prompt 'undo typing' to appear. Click on undo and you'll be back to where you were. 📲📱

How Do You Build A Brand?

Building a brand is NOT something that happens overnight.

It takes times, commitment, persistence!

Don't compare yourself with your competitors. Focus on your branding, your business, your audience, your message!

How?

1️⃣ Put yourself out there consistently. Don’t be shy. Stop overthinking and start putting your business out there on social media. If people can't see you, like you and trust you, they won't buy from you.

2️⃣ It's all about the content. Remember that old adage? CONTENT is KING. Content will boost your visibility. To be a strong brand, become a content machine. A strong online presence coupled with engaging content will not only boost the reputation and credibility of your company and brand, it will eventually increase your bottom line.

3️⃣ Take care of your customers and word of mouth. Go over and above to take care of your customers. Doing that little bit extra helps you develop a great reputation in the market. Customer service becomes a big part of social media

4️⃣ Pay attention to detail. Think outside the box. Deliver a unique brand experience. Show that your brand cares.

5️⃣ Have patience and think long term. Look! Rome wasn't built in a day. There is no secret sauce, magic solution, quick fix. Social media is a long game. Patience and persistence are crucial to social media marketing.

A brand is more than a logo or set of colours, and its so much more than a cover photo. A brand is how you make your customers feel, and it’s built by taking a consistent approach across every interaction they have with your brand.

Want to know how to keep your brand consistent across your social media platforms? 👇👇👇

🔸Make sure you have a consistent logo, colour palette, bio, boilerplate (brand's mission and history) and handle. Ensure your profiles have a common thread that people will recognize as your brand.

🔸Examine your networks’ different demographics and get to know your audience. Create content to match the personas.

🔸Company social media accounts tend to have some personality. A voice and tone guide should include details like brand persona, company catchphrases, personality traits and vocabulary.

🔸Branding is no longer limited to logos and colors. It’s about your voice, your imagery and even your targeted audience. Pay close attention to engagement, mentions and share of voice. You can also use techniques like regular surveys of your audience to understand their level of brand recognition.
