Chinese Broccoli
I started these in the greenhouse about three or four weeks before Christmas and they have been left in the greenhouse ever since even on the frosty nights!
They are really quick growing and super tasty!
They usually take about 30 days to reach maturity, these have taken longer due to the weather. I'm surprised they survived!
These will go in our stir fry later π₯¬

Have you grown it before? What do you use them in?
Is it dead or alive??
This time if the year some plants lose their leaves and start to look a bit dead!
But they might not be!!!
Before you hack them back or pull them out here's a little tip to help you decide ππ»

Today was a good day, hope this makes you smile π
I did put them somewhere safe and they stayed asleep!

Chopping chives back
In the Autumn after flowering I chop the chives back to the ground, you don't have to do this you can just chop the tough flower stems!
You can also give them a chop in the spring / summer and within a few weeks you should have some new fresh growth.
Gardening is all about trial and error and you should do what works for you βΊοΈ
