hank you all for your very kind messages the whole team is very sad its coming to a end especially me as this is my 46 year at the station.
On Saturday 30th November our last day we are inviting Listeners , former members to drop into the studios to say goodbye if you are unable to make it in person call us on 01582 582313 .

Dear Listeners,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of L & D Radio, effective November 30, 2024. After 60 wonderful years of broadcasting, we will be signing off for the final time.
Since our inception, L & D Radio has been a cherished part of our community, bringing you music, news, and stories that resonate with our listeners. We are incredibly proud of the impact we've had and the relationships we've built over the years.
This decision was not made lightly. The media landscape has changed significantly, and after much consideration, we believe it's time to close this chapter and explore new opportunities.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our listeners, staff, and partners for your unwavering support throughout the years. Each of you has played a vital role in our journey, and we will cherish the memories we've created together.
In the coming days, we will be celebrating our legacy with special programming . We invite you to join us as we reflect on the incredible moments we've shared.
Thank you for being a part of our story. We hope to carry the spirit of L & D Radio with us as we move forward.
