We've been playing around with generative AI fill tools in our workflows, and it's super useful to expand the possibilities of what we can create for our clients. What might have taken hours of collecting images and compositing can now be done in half the time.
With GenAI evolving so quickly, we don't know how it's going to impact our industry in the long term. For now, it's our job to keep experimenting with it, understand its limitations, and be cautiously optimistic about all the things it can help us create.
A future where AI helps save time on menial tasks to free up more time for human creativity is one that we can all hope for.

Don't miss our event on Oct. 2: Creating for Connection, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Our two panels are not to be missed.
➡️ Panel 1 •Data vs. Art: Marketing has always been driven by data, while content traditionally captures the brand's heart. Recently, however, viewership and audience engagement have become a science, creating an inflection point where engagement optimization drives storytelling. This panel will unpack this conflict and explore its implications for the future of content.
➡️ Panel 2 • Speed to Market with Content: With limited resources, brands must keep up with an increasingly unmanageable pace of content production. Most brands have divided their efforts between short-form, lightweight content, and long-form brand storytelling. In this session, we’ll discuss how content teams can better ensure brand coherence, consistency, and speed to market across these different verticals.

Since opening our doors in New York in 2011, Casual has had an incredible journey establishing its presence in the US. Our NY team today is a powerhouse that services top clients like Hilton, TIME Magazine, Sol de Janeiro, Fortune and more.
We’ve moved across four different offices: from a tiny co-working space on Varick St. to the warehouse on West St., to our office in Greenpoint, to our current digs in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We’ve fed our souls with sweet treats from Peter Pan donuts, called ‘quiet on set’ only for a seaplane to bear down on us over head, and made many, many great memories with our team and clients over the last decade and a half.
To commemorate the journey, Senior Animator Rich Clements designed a beautiful mural for our office. Peppering those memorable easter eggs throughout the design, Rich (with the help of Sophie Sieckmann’s painting skills) created a piece of art that now lives forever in our office.
Check out the BTS of the project below -- and a big thank you to Sophie and Rich for pulling off this exceptional feat!

Weet-Bix is an Aussie breakfast classic that’s been around for decades. Last year, the team launched a new flavour in their gluten-free range: Berry Flavour Crunch.
They needed an engaging, eye-catching, and informative video for the launch. With a carefully orchestrated shoot in studio, we animated a set of real-world elements to bring to life the delicious, berry-filled flavours of Weet-Bix. Check it out!

Check out this brand video we produced for Genius Sports with the team at The Frameworks.
Led by a pounding script, the video centres on capturing the blood, sweat, and tears of being a sports fan while outlining the breadth of data Genius Sports' innovative technology captures.
We shot on a dark set to forefront dramatic lighting and data overlays and used slow motion to hone in on each significant moment in time. Although abstract, the end result is believable and authentic, recreating the feeling and energy of watching gripping moments in sports.
Casual brought to life a graphic approach that aligned with the broader campaign idea and vision: to be everywhere in sports, redefining experiences through technology. Congrats to the whole team that worked on this!

✨ New Work Alert ✨
Research in Finance approached us to create a film that explained their offering in a fun and engaging way. We wove their story into an eye-catching animation that used their brand assets and felt energetic, fresh and exciting, and helped communicate what they do in a clear and succinct way.
Produced by Jack Wallis, voiced by our very own Jake Joynson, scripted by Pete Woods, animated by David Cowell and sound design by Andy Vourkou.
Thanks so much to the Research in Finance team, we loved collaborating with you on this one!
