: How the Israeli army besieged and attacked hospital.
In Khan Younis, on the night of 14 to 15 February 2024, Nasser hospital, once the largest hospital in southern Gaza, was shelled by Israeli forces. The orthopaedic department was hit, killing one person and injuring eight others.
After several weeks of intense fighting with Palestinian armed groups in Khan Younis, Israeli forces stormed the facility, which until then had been under siege. MSF staff members working at the hospital were first-hand witnesses.
