2025 will be stressful for Mum & Dad 😬

The Yates twins will go head to head at four races in 2025. Both are aiming to ride for general classification at the Giro d’Italia, before supporting their respective team leaders, Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard, at the Tour de France.

Should Pogačar decide to ride the Giro, Adam’s role is likely to change from leader to domestique.

Huge battles on the horizon 😀

The four Tour de France favourites - Tadej Pogačar, Jonas Vingegaard, Primož Roglič and Remco Evenepoel - have now all confirmed the race is part of their provisional 2025 schedules.

Depending on which second Grand Tour Pogačar decides to ride, he will face either Roglič at the Giro d'Italia or Vingegaard at the Vuelta a España.

Pogačar, Vingegaard and Evenepoel are also set to meet at a hilly World Championship road race in Rwanda in September.

Pogačar will face Evenepoel at the Ardennes Classics, if the Belgian can recover from injury in time.

UPDATE: Vingegaard will also ride the Volta ao Algarve and Critérium du Dauphiné.

Jonas targets Grand Tour double 🇫🇷🇪🇸

Jonas Vingegaard has unveiled his stage race schedule for 2025: Volta ao Algarve, Paris-Nice, Volta a Catalunya, Critérium du Dauphiné, Tour de France and Vuelta a España.

New Team Visma | Lease a Bike rider Simon Yates will ride Tirreno Adriatico and the Volta a Catalunya before racing the Giro d'Italia and then supporting Vingegaard at the Tour de France.

The comeback trail starts here 👊

Remco Evenepoel hopes to start riding on rollers on Saturday, five and a half weeks after sustaining fractures to his shoulder blade, rib and hand in a training incident.

Evenepoel said: "I hope to be back for Brabantse Pijl [April 18], which is close to my home and would serve as a strong motivation. I think it’s easier to return to competition in one-day races instead of stage races, and I love the Ardennes Classics, so hopefully I will be in good shape by then, in three months’ time.

"If everything goes well in the Classics, maybe I will also start the Tour de Romandie, just to add a couple more days of racing. Then I will do the Critérium du Dauphiné, the National Championships, and of course, go to some altitude training camps. I want to be at 200% for the Tour de France, and if things go as planned and I continue to improve, I am confident I can start there in a strong form and fight for a good result.”
