Sorry it’s been quiet around here recently! It’s been one of the busiest times of my life (buying our first home and moving house with a 1 year old in a heat wave has been challenging to say the least!) And I could have REALLY done with these CBD Peppermint Gums that .sweet.botanist very kindly shared with me months ago!! Happy 🌿Anytime I tell people about this page 8/10 times they see me like this: (swipe left - 2012 - big stoner) but I’m actually more like this (swipe right - 2022 - mum to Malachi).

I may not be the 2012 version of myself anymore, but all seasons of life should be honoured. I wasn’t actually happy smoking all day every day (this wasn’t medicinal!) but it took me 10 years to accept that. And if back then I told old Karrie that everything would eventually be fine back i’m not sure she’d have believed me. But i’m proud of how far i’ve come and i’m proud of where I started because it was the hardest shackle to break…There are so many inspiring women to celebrate today, that you could end up feeling s**t about the fact you didn’t discover the DNA double helix. BUT remember to take stock of your personal achievements. ✨ You might not always have your s**t together but the tenacity we can have is life changing. Not to mention the fact we grow and birth humans.

Confession: I’d never heard of ‘mycelised’ CBD until last week 🤭 please tell me I’m not alone here…

The topic of ‘nano’ CBD is no stranger to me, but ‘mycelised’ particles are *even smaller*! Which means higher bioavailability = better absorption by the body = bang for your buck 💵

We’ve had Lily lemon tree about 4 years now and every year she blooms an extra couple of buds. This year we have a grand total of 7 🤍

Can’t wait to plant her in our first garden when we eventually find our new home 🏡 might throw a party just for her!

We’re back 👋 sorry its been quiet around here, turns out looking after a talking, teething and soon-to-be walking bubs is actually quite exhausting. BUT i I have some exciting products to share with you guys very soon! 🌟 I’m back to my full time gig in March too (I work in PR/marketing) so i’m trying to soak in these last weeks of mat leave…i’ll be drowning in all the CBD to muster the strength to leave him 😢😢 mums n dads - how did you find returning to work?! 📚 “by the time she was 2, Matilda learned what most people learn in their early 30's; how to take care of herself” - Matilda

New Year can bring pressure. It’s only natural to want better for ourselves but we don’t always achieve those goals within 12 months. And that’s really ok. It’s just life. It’s taken me the best part of 30 years to be truly happy with who I am. Not just a new year’s resolution - or any new year’s resolution in fact. I think back to Matilda when the narrator says "by the time she was two, Matilda learned what most people learn in their early 30's; how to take care of herself." Watching as a kid back in 1996 I remember thinking - "bloody hell, that's really old. I’d better learn way before then” - alas, I did need to wait until my 30th birthday. Don’t get me wrong, I knew how to function as an adult (barely) but I didn’t feel like i’d ‘arrived’. It was a weird unsatisfactory state of limbo. But now i’ve found meaning, thats not to say life will be plain sailing from here on out. I’m just now armored with wisdom to face challenges head-on. And perspective. I'm just relieved I made it. And I believe we all have our own timelines for spiritual growth. So let this serve as a message for anyone feeling lost right now: there is a happier you. But life comes in seasons which can last years or even decades. But its SO worth the sh** in the end. There *is* light at the end of the tunnel. ✨
