Last night’s Shindig! presents HAPPENING with THE STUDIO 68 and XL was an absolute success. The Night Owl Finsbury Park was rammed. First time in a while. Congrats to Paul, Will and crew, especially the Maggie Bell-like Danny, who really blasted it out. Fab to see Kate Hodges, Jeff Pitcher, Parsley, and other pals. Great night. Back on the 6th Sept with Shindig! presents HAPPENING with HOLLOW HAND

So, who made it to The Prisoners on Friday night at @roundhouseldn then? We met lots of old pals, and spotted many excitable men of a certain age. You can read some Prisoners-related deep cuts and a review of ‘Morning Star’ in the new issue. Sub to and buy new issue and more via our biography. Buy new issue and sub via pic links. #musicmagazine
It was great to be a small part of Danny’s (Union Music Store and The Sound Lounge) Sutton Psych Fest. Journey time from North London to Sutton, two hours, but it was well worth it. Great venue. Friendly faces. Lots of pals. And great acts. Caught the end of Joe Harvey-Whyte (who was ace) and then Bobby Lee - Music joined him before doing a full band set, with a brilliant motorick finale. Large Plants delivered a banger and Hollow Hand blew me away. Going to be listening all day. Brilliant work Danny. And fun to deejay with Richard Olson and Ali Bongo Goby. Fab day. A few snaps and vids. Let’s do it again. More crappy snaps to follow.
For those of you who missed @tsool_official tonight in Camden. All I can say is sorry. Shot on iPhone 13 midway back. You get the idea. Astounding stuff.
Haven’t done of these in ages. Please watch and leave comments. Sub to and buy new issue and more via our biography. Buy new issue and sub via pic links. #musicmagazines #subscribe

The Speedways at The Night Owl
Shindig! presents HAPPENING with THE SPEEDWAYS last night. The Speedways played a blinder. Small and intimate. Deserved more. Blessed rail. We’re at The Night Owl Finsbury Park every month, increasingly more. If you’re a band passing through London and wanna play a 100 capacity room with free accommodation, let us know. And punters, is anyone up for solely deejay club nights too?
