Good News for all freelancers .... IR35 is changing (finally) ! These changes come into immediate effect as of 6th April 2024.

🎅 🎄!!!! A HUGE HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL !!!! 🎄🎅
I know it’s only the 1st of December, but we just couldn’t wait any longer to shout it out loud !!!

This is Imaginar’s most favourite time of the year, as we look forward to enjoying all of the fun things that happen during this special month running up to Christmas.

But it doesn’t mean we are slowing down for Christmas just yet, so for anyone out there needing any last-minute help creating images animations or immersive experiences, our doors are open until the 22nd of December, but we will then be closed until the 6th of January 2024. Epic games have released this awesome looking new 'Electric Dreams' asset.
Were definitely going to have a play with it and see how good it is... it might just give us some inspiration for an upcoming project we are about start where we have to drive off road cars around an untamed environment in South Africa and Australia all within UNREAL Engine.

The whole of the production industry is in a state of technology transition but one thing that has to be protected is the ability to tell stories that emotionally connect … I can’t wait to see more work translated form historic text in to modern day visual representations like this

WOW this just popped onto my timeline. 😂 🤣 😂

This is me, 27 years ago working at 'Hayes Davidson' on an Apple Mac 'Quadra 700' using ‘Form Z’ and ‘Electric Image’ doing some CG modelling and rendering of the ‘Nat West Tower’ refurbishment project in London (it’s funny what you remember) look at those cramped working conditions.

It’s good to remind myself how I started and what cool work we used to create on such basic computers and how far things have moved on in that time.

And we were more than excited when we were asked to create a full on animated cinematic for the main promo video and social campaigns for the event... and to make it even better we got to create it all from within UNREAL ENGINE.

We just created this fun project for Mahindra BE RALL-E Concept SUV UNREAL animation.
We decided to do things a bit differently for this CG animated automotive promo and create it in UNREAL ENGINE. I think we ended up picking one of the most complicated terrains to animate a car into… but Unreal worked out to be a great solution considering the very short deadline we all had to create it by.

We are doing EPIC work at the moment with some UNREAL results .. Absolutely loving working in ‘Real-Time Interactive 3D’
