The Foreign Press Association welcomes international journalists to the UK, organises plenty of exclusive briefings on key issues, and works hard to promote ethical, fact-checked journalism.

is deeply saddened by the untimely death of Director-General Christophe Deloire. He was a close friend of our Association and came to celebrate our 130th anniversary as a keynote speaker, in 2018. Christophe was a passionate defender of and an amazing human being. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace 💔

The Sultanate places itself on a neutral stand among the Arab States but advocates for a peaceful, political resolution of the Gaza conflict and for the de escalation of the violence.

Exactly on this day 17 October 2008 the Foreign Press Association had the privilege and honour to host a press conference with former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari in its headquarters in London.

We now remember the former politician, UN diplomat and special convoy for Kosovo who sadly passed away a few days ago aged 86.

Martti Ahtisaari was a mediator who brokered peace around the globe, and won a Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of the formidable work with the Crisis Management Initiative ( ) trying to find a peaceful solution in # , as well as in , Central Asia, and the Horn of Africa.

We express our condolences for the loss of a truly gentle, passionate and determined champion for peace in the world.
