Meet Buddy 🤝

The Finish Line is a post production company, not a SAAS vendor, and Buddy grew out of the work our team handles behind the scenes on every production. It all runs on our own hardware, never offloaded to an external data centre, and because Buddy works from the same media as the editors rather than a copy, cuts and selects move from production straight into Resolve, Avid, Final Cut or Premiere with no reconform. That is the gap other systems have never quite nailed. It comes free with our media services, for every production!

Our founder Zeb Chadfield will be at IBC in Amsterdam this weekend, 11 to 14 September. If you want to pick his brains or grab a beverage, you'll find him somewhere waving his hands around wildly in excitement in the post production section, the beach bar, or Omelegg 🍳

The 20 episode series, made with Nutopia, the History Channel and narrated by Hanks, spans the entire war from the invasion of Poland through to its end, and has held steady top 10 positions on Apple TV in the US, Canada and Australia since its final episodes landed in July.

Longwave's new two-part special Bodies on the Bridge arrives on Crime and Investigation in September, examining one of the UK's most shocking recent murder cases after two suitcases were discovered on Bristol's Clifton Suspension Bridge. Developed alongside the trial itself, it features the first broadcast interviews with those closest to the case.

Production Buddy is live! One place for production to work with their media from day one.

Footage offloads to the production's filespace and is reviewable straight away, while the crew is still shooting.
