His Holiness (aba) mentioned further expeditions that took place after the Conquest of Makkah and the Holy Prophet’s (sa) return to Madinah.

His Holiness (aba) also said that today, there was an attack on the Mahdi Mosque in Rabwah causing four or five Ahmadis to be wounded. Two are seriously injured and were taken in for surgery. His Holiness (aba) prayed for the improvement of their condition and that may Allah bestow blessings on all the wounded.

His Holiness (aba) continued mentioning details regarding the distribution of spoils from the Battle of Hunain.

‘His Holiness (aba) said that the Holy Prophet (sa) had given much of the Khums (a fifth of the spoils reserved for Allah and His Messenger (sa)) to the leaders of the Quraish with the intention of strengthening mutual bonds. Upon this, some youth from the Ansar felt that they had a greater right to receive this wealth, since they had rendered great services for Islam.’

With regards to the Battle of Hunain, His Holiness (aba) continued mentioning various fascinating details, such as when God Almighty mentions armies descending from the heavens during the Battle of Hunain, which are likened to angels. God says in the Holy Qur’an:

‘Then Allah sent down His peace upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and He sent down hosts which you did not see, and He punished those who disbelieved. And this is the reward of the disbelievers.’ (The Holy Qur’an, 9:26)
