I've had an unforgettable July filled with incredible experiences, starting with the in-person Star Wars Outlaws previews in LA followed by a VIP tour of California Disneyland that included a fascinating backstage talk from a couple of Disney Imagineers about how Galaxy's Edge was constructed 😱

I'm also thrilled to have been shortlisted for Gaming Content Creator of the Year in the awards! And to top it all off, I've spent the past weekend providing support for 's Creator Charity Skydive, which has raised over £10,000 for Cancer Research UK!

It's been a whirlwind month full of good vibes, good fun, and good people... And I have a few more exciting things happening before it's up 👀

Galaxy's Edge photo dump 💫

I have been so jetlagged this week 😭 For those not keeping up, I lost my voice before I arrived in California after I sat under a couple airplane fans for 11 hours... I thought it'd be a good idea to rest as much as possible when I arrived back in the UK, which was probably a good idea in some ways, but it does mean I haven't adjusted back to UK hours! I do kinda need my voice for work and I'm glad that it's ~95% back to normal 🫶

I haven't even had a chance to go through the 54GB of vlog footage but it's at the top of my list when I've finished with the sponsored vids for the next couple of weeks 👀

Back in the UK after an unreal week in LA & Batuu 🌌 I've got so much to show you so here's a little preview before I can get to work on the vlog. My voice is still very hoarse/croaky, perhaps even worse after another long flight, so wish me luck as I try to get it back asap 😭

I've felt so inspired this weekend! I have so many big plans for the future that I can't wait to crack on with but, for now, I must reel my brain back in and focus on finishing my content backlog. I did just film a very cool unboxing that I'm hoping to post tomorrow so keep an eye out if you're a MTG fan 👀

I've been travelling a lot recently so I've spent this week getting back into a routine, catching up on work (& sleep), going to the gym, enjoying the sun when I can, and putting on a million loads of washing with seemingly no end in sight 😅 Loosely related, I've had quite a few people reach out, as I've mentioned multiple times that I'll be hiring an editor, but I haven't had any time to look through their messages properly! However, I can say it's surprising how many people proactively contacted me but didn't think to attach any examples of their work... On the bright side, at least I know quickly who wouldn't be compatible!

Xbox announced earlier today that their June Xbox Games Showcase will be followed by a "special deep-dive into the next installment of a beloved franchise" 🤔

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to be the Silksong Direct... Any guesses on what it could be? The orange screams Divison to me but it's likely something out of the Activision Blizzard catalog

I know I ended with a joke but Roblox has actually been banned in Turkey over child safety concerns... Apparently its inability to "effectively monitor and regular inappropriate content on Roblox" was the deciding factor. I believe Roblox does categorise "experiences" by age (all ages, 9+, 13+, and 17+) but parents should also be monitoring what their children do online. This ban comes shortly after they restricted access to Instagram with no formal reason shared with the public. The IG ban lasted a week and access is now being restored.

Since I recorded this video, it's SOARED all the way up to... 3% 😭 I'm not usually one to care what Rotten Tomatoes critics have to say but the Borderlands movie reviews being this bad across the board is worth discussing. I hate the cinema, because I like having subtitles, breaks, and comfy seats, so I'm going to wait for the digital release! It's such a shame because the Borderlands universe has so many good stories worth telling, and I did like the majority of the casting choices 😔
