Lockdown Dreams Episode 2 ( Web Series Filmed in Lockdown in different parts of the world)

Arc Pictures and team bring another episode of our comic lockdown series which is being completely filmed by volunteers from different parts of the world in these unprecedented times.

With social distancing and staying at home in place, filmmaking is now evolving with technology to be more virtual than ever.

Aliakbar Campwala, the writer filmmaker ' We artists are living in total isolation which has brought despair by Covid 19. This is an attempt to combat this situation with comedy and give hope to humanity in this seemingly never ending crisis.

The series is made within constraints of lockdown around the world, breaking the barriers of creativity.

In a way, whilst making this series, we could look out for each other and socialise as a film crew online. This is an important factor as we need to motivate ourselves and always hope that better times will come, by staying positive.

We also wanted to focus on the things which actually bring us together, no matter where you are, and creating a 'fun' memory when we remember this lockdown era ourselves for years to come.

Samuel Street

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately after the screening of the film in the Cannes film festival in France in 2016, due to a terrible unforeseen incident we were not able to further polish the final editing of the our feature film for public screening around the world.

We had lost all our hard drives and footages of the film in an unfortunate rough encounter and now finally managed to retrieve a screening copy to upload it online here.

We have uploaded the film for all our crew and actors who were involved in the making of the film. So they can showcase their work and talent involved to the wider audience.

The film pays tribute to our dear beloved friend Mudassar Kazi and to Late Kiran Pande who was one of the finest actors we worked with during the entire production.

Thanking everyone from the cast and crew all for their hard work and dedication behind this project.

We give you 'Samuel Street' now available to watch it online in these troubled times where memories matter the most to a lot of us.
