Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a legendary Pakistani musician, widely regarded as one of the greatest qawwali singers of all time. Nusrat was the son of Fateh Ali Khan, and he inherited his family's musical legacy. His early training included classical music and qawwali, and he eventually became the leader of his family’s qawwali group after his father's death. His performances were marked by his ability to blend traditional qawwali with contemporary music, and he played a pivotal role in popularizing qawwali globally, especially in the West.

His first big break came with the song *"Tum Bhi Bhool Jao Ge"* in 1944, but his popularity soared after songs like *"Yeh Reshmi Zulfein"* and *"Teri Pyaari Pyaari Surat Ko"*.

He was known for his versatility, singing in a variety of styles, including romantic ballads, classical music, patriotic songs, qawwalis, and even playful tracks. Some of his most famous songs include:
- *"Baharon Phoolon Ka"* (Suraj, 1966)
- *"Teri Bindiya Re"* (Abhinetri, 1970)
- *"Chaudhvin Ka Chand"* (Chaudhvin Ka Chand, 1960)
- *"Aaj Mausam Bada Bemisaal Hai"* (Mehndi, 1970)
- *"Kya Hua Tera Wada"* (Hum Kisise K*m Naheen, 1977)
