September Racing Weekend
The September Racing Weekend presents two days of fantastic late summer Flat racing. A relaxed and sociable atmosphere fills the racecourse, with racegoers catching up with friends and enjoying a picnic on the lawns whilst viewing thrilling action on the track.

The racing highlight of the Saturday is the Lavazza Stakes, a valuable Heritage Handicap run over a mile-and-a-half. A memorable renewal of the race was won by Chalk Stream for Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II in 2021.

The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup offers a thrilling blend of on and off the track entertainment at one of our most popular events of the year.

A unique fixture in the global racing calendar, the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup sees jockeys from around the world compete in a team-racing format, joining forces to try and win racing’s ultimate team prize. Will it be Great Britain & Ireland, Europe, the Rest of the World or the Ladies that raise the Cup this year?

An exciting six-race contest is followed by a lively post-racing concert. This year, Craig David will headline the evening, with Melanie C and Marvin Humes rounding off the day in style.

QIPCO King George Day
The racecourse is in full bloom and the atmosphere is electric with top-quality action on the track. The highlight of the weekend is the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes, Europe’s indisputable midsummer middle-distance showpiece. The race has seen many a great crowned victorious, including Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Brigadier Gerard, Shergar, Nashwan, Galileo and of course the mighty Enable, the only three-time winner.

Off the track, the racecourse is a whirlwind of colour and laughter as racegoers don summer occasionwear, catch up with friends and sample the many bars and eateries on offer under the summer sun. The weekend is brought to a close with an after party at the bandstand on the Saturday evening.
