My heart is heavy as I think of all those affected by the California fires. To those who are suffering loss, facing uncertainty, or feeling overwhelmed, please know that you are not alone. In times of trial, we can find comfort in God's Word:

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you" (Isaiah 43:2).

This promise reminds us that even in the midst of devastation, God walks with us, offering His protection and love. Let us come together as a community, lending our hands and hearts to support those in need.

Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). Let us pray for healing and peace for all who are grieving and displaced.

If you feel called to help, there are many ways to give, volunteer, or simply reach out to those around you. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ in these trying times.

To everyone affected: we see you, we love you, and we are praying for you.
