Forgiveness is one of the hardest commands in Scripture… and also one of the most freeing ✝️🤍

Romans 12:19 tells us not to avenge ourselves, but to leave justice to God. And honestly, that can feel unfair. When someone hurts you deeply, everything in you wants balance, answers, repayment.

But forgiveness was never about fairness.
If God were fair with us, we’d all be in trouble. What we receive instead is grace.

Hebrews 12:15 warns us about bitterness how it quietly takes root, then poisons not just our hearts, but the lives of others around us. Bitterness doesn’t punish the offender. It imprisons the wounded.

Holding onto resentment keeps yesterday alive in today.
It allows people from your past to keep hurting you long after they’re gone.

God doesn’t ask you to deny the pain.
He asks you to release the burden.
To trust that He will settle what you cannot.

Forgiveness is not weakness.
It’s wisdom.
It’s choosing peace over poison.

Take a quiet moment today and ask yourself: What hurt am I still carrying?
Then pray, even simply, “Lord, help me let this go.” 🤍

Forgiving someone sounds holy until God reminds you that forgiveness doesn’t include replaying the offense in your mind every night before bed.

Boxing Day always gives us space to breathe, to reflect, to take stock 🎄🤍

After the celebration, the food, the noise, and the joy of Christmas, we’re left with something deeper to sit with: love in action.
And love, as Scripture reminds us, “isn’t selfish or quick-tempered. It doesn’t keep a record of wrongs.” (1 Corinthians 13:5)

Forgiveness is one of the most misunderstood parts of love.
It’s often watered down, rushed, or forced but biblical forgiveness is neither cheap nor careless.

Forgiveness is not conditional.
It’s not pretending the pain didn’t matter.
It’s not instantly restoring trust.
It’s not forgetting what happened.
And it’s not something you do on behalf of someone else’s wound.

Forgiveness is releasing someone from the debt they owe your heart…
while still allowing wisdom, boundaries, and healing to take their rightful place.

This Boxing Day, maybe the gift you give yourself is freedom.
Freedom from bitterness.
Freedom from rehearsing old wounds.
Freedom to let grace have the final word.

Forgiveness doesn’t excuse what happened it releases you.

✨As you reflect today, ask yourself: What am I still carrying that God is inviting me to release?

Share this with someone who may need a gentle reminder this season.

Christmas holds a depth we can easily rush past 🎄✨

Over 600 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah declared His name would be Immanuel meaning God with us (Isaiah 7:14).
Mary wondered how, and heaven answered plainly.
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you” (Luke 1:35).

What began in a womb did not end at a manger.
Jesus later promised that it was better He would go, so the Holy Spirit could come and dwell with us forever (John 14:16–17, John 16:7).

This is the beauty of the gospel.
God didn’t visit and leave.
He stayed.

Whether this season feels joyful or heavy, full or quiet, know this.
Immanuel has come for you.
And through the Holy Spirit, He is still with you 🤍

Father, thank You for sending Your Son and for the gift of Your Spirit. Help me remember that wherever I am, You are with me in Jesus name . Amen 🙏

It’s easy to read the word Shepherd and miss how deep it really is.

A shepherd doesn’t manage from afar.
He stays close. He knows every sheep. He notices when one is missing.
He risks himself to bring the lost back home.

Jesus chose that title on purpose ✝️
Because without Him, we wander. We get distracted. We lose direction.

But in Him, we find provision.
We find protection.
We find guidance and rest for our souls 🤍

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27 NIV

So this Christmas , let this comfort you.
Jesus is not distant. He is near.
And no matter where you are, you are never outside His care.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for being my Good Shepherd. Help me hear Your voice clearly and trust You enough to follow. I rest in the safety of Your care in Jesus name . Amen 🙏

What a gift we have in Jesus… the One who traded heaven’s glory for our healing, our hope, and our peace ✨

Isaiah 9:6 calls Him the Prince of Peace, and in John 16:33 He reminds us that even though the world brings trouble, He has already overcome it.

We try so hard to carry everything on our own.
We overthink. We worry. We hold on tight.
But Jesus never asked us to carry the weight by ourselves.

Peace becomes real when we bring our fear, our stress, our disappointments, and even our silent prayers back to Him.
His peace is not fragile.
His peace is not temporary.
His peace is supernatural.

This season, and every season, may we choose to rest in the peace that only Jesus gives.
He is with you.
He is for you.
And His peace is your portion 🤍

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the peace You give me through Jesus. Help me remember it, lean into it, and live from it. No matter what I face, Your presence steadies my heart in Jesus name . Amen.

Christmas Eve is here and tomorrow we celebrate the greatest gift the world has ever known ✨🎄

Isaiah 9:6 calls Him Everlasting Father.
And for many of us, that name lands differently.
Some of us have beautiful memories tied to “father.”
Others carry wounds, absence, or unanswered questions.

Yet in Jesus, we are invited into something unchanging.
A perfect Father.
A Father who does not abandon, give up, or withhold good.

Through Christ, we are adopted into God’s family.
We don’t approach Him as strangers, but as children loved, seen, and welcomed home.
Just like the father in the parable of the lost son… arms open, heart full, waiting.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 7 that if earthly fathers try their best to give good gifts, how much more will our heavenly Father give good things to His children who ask.
And James 1:17 anchors us in this truth: every good and perfect gift comes from Him and He never changes.

This Christmas, may your heart rest in the love of an Everlasting Father.
In Him, there is healing.
In Him, there is hope.
In Him, there is home.

🎄As we step into Christmas Day, take a quiet moment to thank God for being the Father who never fails.
Comment “Thank You, Abba” if this message touched your heart 🤍

The words of Isaiah became flesh in Jesus the Mighty God whose power changed everything.
He healed the sick, calmed storms, raised the dead and then gave us access to that same power.

If God could use Peter after denial and Paul after destruction, He can use anyone willing, including you.

This Christmas, remember: the same power that raised Jesus is alive in you. God wants to move in your life and through your life to reach others.

What an honour to be part of His Kingdom work ✨

Prayer:
Father, thank You for choosing me. Let Your power work through me, and help me accomplish more than I can imagine in Jesus might name . Amen.
