The film, Beneath The Silence, due out later this year, portrays the life of Raye, a woman trapped in an abusive relationship, as she struggles to escape the cycle of violence and its effects on those around her. With Gina Jones in the lead role, it is a story of strength and resilience, both on and off the set. Despite losing part of her hearing and suffering from tinnitus after a car crash, Gina refused to give up on her passion for acting. She persevered through the difficulties of hearing directions on set and feeling out of place at social events, proving that she is a true fighter. Gina's dedication to raising awareness about the challenges abuse victims face in her new film is a testament to her character and spirit. Through her portrayal of Raye, she shines a light on the reality of domestic violence and empowers others to take action. Gina's success is only the beginning, and there is no doubt that her talent and courage will continue to inspire many.

Quan Huynh's story is an example of a Second Chance. After serving 22 years in prison for a gang-related incident, he created his own business, Defy Ventures. Huynh's journey also involved receiving the Peace Fellowship Award for his work with the Alternatives to Violence Project. Through journaling, he gained self-understanding and authored the book "Sparrow in the Razor Wire," redefining the perception of former offenders. In this episode, he shares his experience behind bars and how he found the inner freedom to bounce back after being in prison.
