Sorry I haven’t shared updates here for a while — life got busier than expected!
I thought I’d share a little update on what my boys have been learning, loosely based on the National Curriculum.
I usually plan a term in advance, which makes things much easier for me to organise and deliver. It also helps me balance learning with extra-curricular activities, outings, and family time — because Home Education is about life as a whole, not just lessons.
During the last Autumn term, here’s what we covered:
📘 Akhlaaq – focusing on character, manners, and values
🔢 Maths – times tables and fractions
🔬 Science – states of matter
📖 English – a variety of reading and writing activities
✍️ Spelling – regular practice and reinforcement
Slow, steady, and meaningful learning — tailored to their pace and needs.
