Did you know it's possible to HEAR someone's brain work? This is me talking on BBC TWO WALES when telly decided it didn't want to telly anymore and I was trying to figure out how to get it all working again, whilst talking live. You wouldn't get this if I was pre-recorded 😉

This week marks 20 years (I was only 10 at the time, incredibly young) since I was first thrust upon your tellyboxes, not having a clue what I was doing ... I still don't ... even though I appear to still be doing it. Has it been easy? Catch yourself on! But I'd just like to thank all those past and present bosses who have given me the opportunities over the years ... from Channel 4 to Sky, the BBC to Netflix ... it has been totes emosh! And obviously, to you, for letting me annoy you in your very own living rooms. Here's a photo taken from my ultra-modern phone at the time of the E4 booth. You can see by the Ultra HD quality that it really wasn't that long ago. Once again, thank you so much 😘

I am absolutely humbled/stunned/shocked/flabbergasted/delighted/proud that I have once again been shortlisted for a prestigious … the Oscars of the voiceover world if you will.

I’m nominated in the ‘Continuity – Best Overall Performance’ category for my work on BBC One BBC Cymru Wales I am absolutely chuffed but am up against a lot of very talented people, all of whom I would like to congratulate.

I would also like to point out that no Matt Tebbutt’s were harmed in the making of this announcement (he is shockingly handsome for both television and radio)

Now I know it's hard to believe, given the job I do, but I'm actually quite shy and am not one for blowing my own trumpet, so when Mark and Sam first approached me (quite a long time ago) I was very hesitant about doing this, but they really are persistent, and talked me into it.

Now I don't for a second want anyone to think that I am a spokesperson for all things continuity, I'm just lucky enough to have been able to do it for the best part of 20 years (yes, I started when I was 9) and these are just some of my experiences.

Anyway, I hope you like the podcast, it wasn't as terrifying as I had convinced myself it was going to be. Thanks to Mark Ryes and Samantha Boffin - British Voice Actor and Director for allowing me to do it.
