Starting an online business was never part of the story I was creating for myself. It hadn’t ever entered my mind.

I had no idea something like this was out there. If I did, I would’ve started years ago, believe me!

The story I was creating for myself didn’t include time to spend doing what I wanted when I wanted.

It didn’t include travelling the world for months at a time with my little family.

It didn’t include living financially free.

Show me a career that allows for all of this - I was searching high and low, but my time would never be mine!

I was hoping and imagining winning the lottery every week. Entering daytime TV competitions hoping I’d win £250,000 and a brand new BMW!

Honestly, I never thought I’d ever have a hope in finding something that allowed me to live life freely - but I have.

And now, I truly feel like I’ve won the lottery ✨✨✨

Listened to one of podcasts this week where she was talking about motivation and I loved this quote 💬

Think about everyone who runs the marathon, some professionals, some semi professionals, but mostly people that have to have the motivation to keep on going.

No matter how tired they feel, no matter how much their legs hurt, no matter how much they are telling themselves that it seems impossible…

They simply DON’T GIVE UP.

And the cheering at the finish line gets louder and louder for those that drag their tired legs over that finish line, blood, sweat and tears.

𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟜 𝔾𝕠𝕒𝕝 𝕤𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 🎆

As the year draws to a close, it had me thinking about the start of this year and the goals I set myself…

I didn’t look too much into them and they looked a little like this:

• Drink 2L water daily
• Exercise 3 times per week
• Eat healthier

Not very exciting right?! Did I even achieve those goals?

For the 1st few weeks of January yes I did. I then fell back down the rabbit hole that I have fallen down for the years previous to that too. And that was the end of my 2023 goals. I failed… and who was to blame? Myself - because I had no real desire to stick to them.

Fast forward to now, about to enter the next new year with a stronger mindset and after working on my personal development for the last 6 months…

My 2024 goals are:

• Become the healthiest version of myself because I have 2 young children that depend on my health to be the best it’s ever been. I want to be there for them for as long as I possibly can and so I’ll make sure I’m putting everything into my body that will fuel it and keep it in a healthy state.

• Accelerate my business to allow me to leave my career as an NHS nurse by the later part of the year, because I want to be the best mummy I can possibly be. I don’t want to miss out on them both growing up. Their lives so far have already passed in the blink of an eye and I want to be present, I want to have the energy to keep up with them and I want to feel happy.

• Continue to work everyday on my self development. I’ve never really thought about the way the mind works until this year. It has completely transformed my life. I still have work to do but listening to podcasts, reading books, and working on my self development has fundamentally changed my life, and so I will continue to work on this every single day going forward.

I have so much more passion and zest for life than I did at the beginning of the year, and I am so so excited to see what happens within the next year.

I challenge you to really dive deep into your 2024 goals. Feel the reasons behind those goals and really go for it.

Your future self with thank you for it 🕊️

We’ve had a lovely Christmas at my mum and dads house with my brother and his family.

We’ve eaten plenty, drunk a lot, and opened so many presents.

Darcey could not believe her eyes when she saw her presents under the tree, it was so so beautiful to see her excitement… Bit of 3 year old reality when she decided to have a tantrum because the presents ran out 😑🙄

We’re already planning next year's Christmas and we’re going to rent a big house somewhere, as my mum and dads house is getting a bit small for my family of four, and next year my brother will have his own family of four 🫣

So greatful to have spent Christmas with my family 🤍

𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕤𝕖𝕥𝕤 𝕄𝕐 𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕝 𝕠𝕟 𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖? 🔥

Knowing that everyday I’m working towards a very different future to what I had in mind at the start of this year.

At the start of the year I thought my life would forever be working towards promotions at work so that we’d be able to take a holiday, maybe 2 per year if we were lucky.

I was continuing to search for that perfect nursing role that didn’t involve night shifts, working weekends, working over Christmas and paid me well…. 😂 (I obviously wasn’t living in the real world!)

I thought we’d just have to settle living pay day to pay day without much savings, because let’s face it, inflation is making saving very hard right now!

That was my reality at the start of this year…

And now at the end of the year, things look very very different…

I’m working towards TIME, LOCATION and FINANCIAL freedom! All because I said ‘YES’ to an opportunity that allowed me to join as an affiliate to the most abundant, ethical, sustainable company.

It’s never too late to start. 2024, the online marketing world is about to BOOM 💥

What happened to stay at home mums?

It used to be normality… become a mum and be present through their childhood.

Now society leads us to believe that we have to spin every single plate as mums.

We are expected to go straight back to work 9-12 months after having our babies (don’t get me started on maternity pay), place them in someone else’s care whilst we are earning money to pay for that childcare… and then they have illness after illness so can’t attend nursery, all the while we are still having to pay the nursery for not actually looking after our child 🤯

My business offers something unique!

It will enable me to live life the way I want to live it.

❌ No alarm clock

❌ No commute

❌ No restrictions on my day

❌ Nobody to answer to but myself

❌ No pressure to hit certain ranks or targets

❌ No request for annual leave with anxiety it may be declined

❌ No uncapped income

❌ No cringey cold messages to random people on social media or selling my soul to family or friends

I work my business around me and my commitments.

There is literally nothing not to love about it!
