গত বছর দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে থাকা এশিয় উন্নয়ন ব্যাংক (এডিবি) এই বছর আছে তৃতীয় অবস্থানে, ঋণের পরিমাণ ১৪.১১ বিলিয়ন ডলার। এছাড়া জাপান, রাশিয়া ও চীনের কাছে বাংলাদেশের ২০ বিলিয়ন ডলারের বেশি ঋণ আছে।

He is followed by State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury (286.77%), LGRD Minister Tazul Islam (242.38%), Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury (242.15%) and State Minister for Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak (239.73%).

এর আগে ১৯৮৩ সালে পাবনার ঈশ্বরদীতে রেলসেতু ধ্বসে মারা যান ট্রেনে থাকা ৬০ জন যাত্রী। ১৯৯৫ সালে দিনাজপুরের হিলিতে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা ট্রেনে চলন্ত ট্রেন আঘাত করলে মারা যান ৫০ জন। ১৯৮৫ সালে পার্বতীপুরগামী ট্রেনে আগুন ধরলে ২৭ জন মারা যান। ভেড়ামারায় সর্বহারাদের ট্রেনের লাইন খুলে রাখার কারণে মারা যান ২৫ জন, ১৯৮৬ সালে।

বাংলাদেশের অধিবাসীদের ভিসা প্রত্যাখানের হার ৩০.৩%, অর্থাৎ প্রতি তিনজনের একজনের আবেদন প্রত্যাখান করা হয়ে থাকে।
তবে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের এই হিসাবে শিক্ষার্থীদের ভিসাকে আমলে নেয়া হয়নি।
Dhaka has the highest percentage of internet users among the total population aged 5 years and above. 40.41% of people aged 5 years and above in Dhaka used internet at least once in the last three months. Rangpur division has the lowest number of internet users. Only 17.67% people have used internet within three months of the survey period.
