Spurs have started off well in Europe so far this term and have two wins to their name from their first two games. The European fixtures have allowed the head coach to rotate his team and give his Premier League regulars a rare rest.
Postecoglou mentioned in his press conference that the captain - Son will play no part against AZ. The absence of the experienced attacker could potentially open the door for Mikey Moore to start his second successive European game for Tottenham.
Richarlison is set to make his first start of the season after an injury-hit campaign so far. He'll aim to find his scoring form and lead the attack. Forster may get a game tonight.
This could be tougher than many may think. AZ Alkmaar are a decent team. We should have enough to get the win though.

Tottenham host West Ham in the early kick-off today with a much-needed return to Premier League fixtures after two long weeks of international break.
It is a big game for both teams. West Ham and Tottenham are similar; they’ve had a stop-start season. West Ham’s performance against Chelsea was disappointing, but then they got a good win at home against Ipswich.
Tottenham really need a win to be honest. The Brighton game was really disappointing. When you’re winning the game 2-0 at half-time, you have to manage the game in the right way. If you can’t win – don’t lose.
Son is back on the left from the start and our captain needs to be back at his best which has been fleeting for worryingly far too long.
Tottenham Hotspur have met West Ham 56 times in the Premier League, with Spurs winning 26 to the Hammers' 18, while 12 matches have been drawn. Win 27 is the only option today and the defeat at Brighton needs to be used as a tool to improve and get stronger tactically.
Teams below:
Starting XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski; Johnson, Solanke, Son (c).
Substitutes: Forster, Dragusin, Gray, Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall, Werner, Moore, Richarlison.
Starting XI: Ar**la; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson; Rodriguez, Soucek, Paqueta; Bowen, Antonio, Kudus.
Substitutes: Fabianski, Mavropanos, Cresswell, Coufal, Alvarez, Soler, Summerville, Guilherme, Ings.

Danny Blanchflower once said: “The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It’s nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It is about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.”

Son Heung-min will miss the trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old was forced off late in the Europa League victory against Qarabag on Thursday night. Timo Werner comes in for his first league start of the season at the ground where he produced an assist on debut in our 2-2 draw at Old Trafford back in January last term.
Spurs need to be at their best for this one.
Our full line-up is as follows...
Starting XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero (c), van de Ven, Udogie; Maddison, Bentancur, Kulusevski; Johnson, Solanke, Werner.
Substitutes: Forster, Spence, Dragusin, Gray, Bissouma, Bergvall, Sarr, Moore, Lankshear.

Spurs have had an indifferent start to the season and today is a fantastic opportunity to get their season going as they face Brantford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Ange confirmed that he expects Wilson Odobert to be out for a fair period of time as he sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday's win over Coventry.
There was positive news however as Yves Bissouma has trained with the team today (Friday 20 September) while Timo Werner has also recovered well after being forced off against Coventry - the duo could both be available for selection for the game with the Bees.
An update was also provided on Richarlison. The forward featured in our first two outings of the season but has since been unavailable through injury. The Brazilian is still yet to train with the team and so Ange does not expect him to feature for us for the next period.
Speaking to the national media, Ange said, " Wilson, it doesn't look good. We're still waiting for it to settle down to get all the information but he'll definitely be out for the next period. It's his hamstring.
"Bissouma trained today so he should be available for tomorrow. Timo was ok. He recovered ok."

Ange Postecoglou will make a late decision on whether Yves Bissouma can take part in todays game after returning from international duty with “a bit of an issue”.
Defender Micky van de Ven has trained during the international break after missing our last outing against Newcastle United and could return against Arsenal, while Ange reported that Dominic Solanke, sidelined since the opening weekend has also returned to training.
Fellow forward Richarlison remains sidelined.
As for the visitors, Declan Rice is suspended while it remains to be seen whether Martin Odegaard can be involved after picking up an ankle injury on international duty for Norway.
Summer signing Mikel Merino misses out with a shoulder injury, while Gabriel Jesus could be ready to return after missing the last two games with a groin problem.

Tottenham Hotspur v Everton preview (3pm BST)

Spurs only managed to come away with a point against Leicester, even though they had 70% possession and multiple opportunities to extend their 0-1 lead, following a poor second half at the King Power Stadium. Postecoglou has confirmed that Dominic Solanke will now miss the match against Everton on Saturday after picking up an ankle injury in the game on Monday evening.
But for the first time in many a season Tottenham have two centre forwards.... but Richarlison is also injured. He may play some part today against his former club Everton but don't be surprised if he starts on the bench.
Tottenham also lost Rodrigo Bentancur to a head injury and Pedro Porro went off late on after picking up a knock. Postecoglou confirmed that Bentancur will miss the match against Everton through the concussion protocol.
This is not ideal but Spurs do have depth to call upon - Porro should be fit to start.
Yves Bissouma should come straight back into the team with Archie Gray -who has impressed in preseason, eager to prove himself and could get the nod.
Spurs Goal Line Bar Banter Predicted starting line up:
Goalkeeper - Guglielmo Vicario
Right-back - Pedro Porro
Centre-back - Cristian Romero
Centre-back - Micky van de Ven
Left-back - Destiny Udogie
Central midfield - Pape Matar Sarr
Central midfield - Yves Bissouma
Central midfield - James Maddison
Right wing - Brennan Johnson
Left wing - Son Heung-min
Centre forward - Dejan Kulusevski
Predicted result 3-1

Its the penultimate game of the season and last home game for Spurs in the Premiership.
If Tottenham Hotspur win or draw against Manchester City this evening, it could help their rivals Arsenal win the Premier League title and this has some Spurs fans feeling conflicted.
On the one hand, Ange Postecoglou’s side are chasing Champions League football. A win would put them two points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, with one more game to go.
But on the other, a win would also leave their fierce rivals Arsenal chasing their first Premier League title in 20 years - one point ahead of City at the top with one match left. Even a draw would leave Arsenal ahead on goal difference.
If Spurs lose, Pep Guardiola’s side will go two points clear at the top of the table, needing a win against West Ham on Sunday to secure a record fourth consecutive title.
I do not doubt Spurs will go out with the mindset of getting a win.

Ange Postecoglou has made five changes to the team that started the north London derby against Arsenal four days ago.
In wholesale changes to the midfield, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr return to the side in a three alongside Dejan Kulusevski, with trio Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison all moving to the bench.
Richarlison comes into the forward line having returned from injury off the bench against the Gunners last time out, with Brennan Johnson also replacing the injured Timo Werner who is out for the rest of the season.
With Ben Davies also out for the rest of the campaign through injury, Emerson Royal comes in at the back for his first start since our 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on 2 March.
Oliver Skipp returns from his recent injury setback for a place amongst the substitutes. He is joined by another product of our Academy in 16-year-old Mikey Moore who makes the matchday squad for the first time.

We go first up in the Premier League this weekend with a 12.30pm kick-off against the Magpies at St. James' Park.
Newcastle's form has picked up since February. They have lost just two of their last 10.
Harvey Barnes made a storming return from injury with a late winner against West Ham.
Whether it's Barnes or Jacob Murphy, it's a dangerous front three with Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak. Bruno Guimaraes brings a bit of everything in central midfield.
For Spurs Richarlison will again miss out this weekend with a knee issue, having also sat out of Sunday’s home win over Nottingham Forest.
Midfield needs to be sharp to link defence to attack. Bentancur and Holberg may get the nod after their performances against Forest.
This is a tough test and Spurs will need to be on top of their game if they want to get anything from this one. Expect goals and plenty of opportunities for both teams

We host Nottingham forest this evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (6PM UK).
Richarlison will miss the game after a slight knee complaint.
Kulusevski was at his brilliant best when we travelled to the City Ground back in December. First to set up a classic forward's header for Richarlison at the end of the first half, before capitalising on Matt Turner's mistake to ram home the second goal. Forest came back into it when Yves Bissouma was sent off after 70 minutes, but Guglielmo Vicario kept the hosts at bay and we took the points back to N17.
While the Tricky Trees have won just one of their past seven games on their travels, they should take some confidence in having scored in six of those matches. Spurs are prone to the odd defensive slip, so do not be surprised if Forest get on the scoresheet.
Yet again another massive opportunity to grab fourth place away from Villa.
