A creative media company based on Anglesey producing, filming and editing bilingual professional video content. I'm Tudur Evans a camera operator, editor and content producer from Anglesey. I create documentary programmes for television, promotional videos, and event videography. I started Crefft Media late 2014 as a means to offer my video production skills to the local companies, charities and

The Remarkable Reverend William Hughes and the African Institute of Colwyn Bay

Crefft Media had a great time finding out about Wales’s very own superhero – Rev William Hughes! The story: At the end of the 19th century, Rev Hughes set up the African Institute in Colwyn Bay. Over 100 students from all over Africa came to study at the Institute (otherwise known as Congo House), with many returning to their homelands as doctors, teachers, printers, tailors, nurses and lawyers. Find out more about the Institute by watching our film. It was a pleasure working with Dr Marian Gwyn, Colwyn Bay Town Council and with Learning Links International to tell the story of this truly remarkable man. Daeth dros 100 o fyfyrwyr o bob rhan o Affrica i astudio yn y Sefydliad (neu Ty Congo), gyda llawer ohonyn yn dychwelyd adref fel meddygon, athrawon, argraffwyr, teilwyr, nyrsys, a chyfreithwyr.
