Just load up your car and head over—no need to book in advance. Top tip: Arrive before 8am to set up and grab a great spot.

🛍️ What to Bring:
We welcome all your second-hand treasures and car boot finds. If you’re a trader with new goods, get in touch with us beforehand to book your space.

💷 Pitch Fees:
- £15 for a car
- £20 for a van
Top tip: Bring the right change to keep things simple.

📍 Location:
Find us behind Argos, off Whitburn Road EH48 1HH—nestled between B&M and Home Bargains. Top tip: Follow the signs and you won’t miss us!

✨ Extra Tips:
- Pack a small float of change for your sales.

Livingston Islamic Centre & Mosque are hosting their Summer Fair on Saturday 13th July, 11am-7pm at the mosque.

As-salamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakullah

They will have a range of activities including but not limited to:

- Children’s bouncy castle mini assault course
- ⁠BBQ
- ⁠Car Wash
- ⁠A range of stalls selling food
- Mehndi (Henna)
- Clothes Jewelry & More

They are raising funds to upgrade the mosque security and entrance area, something which will benefit for all attendees.

PLANS for 25 short-term let flats in Bathgate were given the green light at today's meeting of West Lothian Council's Development Management Committee.
But does it mean that the town is becoming a booming tourism hotspot?
"If there is a boom in Bathgate's tourism industry, we need these short-term let apartments and that would also be great so I'd like to see that being promoted," said Councillor Pauline Stafford.
Her comments came during a discussion on an application to convert the former Dacoll Computer Distributers offices at Gardners Lane into 25 self-contained flatted units.
"It would be good to see it come back into use," added Councillor Stafford, "but I am concerned that we have had three similar applications of the same nature concentrated literally within a stone's throw of each other, one of which openly said it probably would be used as homeless accommodation, so my concern is there's becoming a concentration of this in Bathgate town centre.
"If we could have some assurances through a log about its use, that would be great."
Councillor George Paul moved the application be granted and was seconded by Councillor Stafford.
The use of a log was made a condition of planning permission.

Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Community Development Trust are having an Eastfield Open Day on Friday 26 July 2024 from 1pm - 3pm at Eastfield Development Centre, 2 Eastfield Road, Fauldhouse, EH47 9LE
Come along to see the newly redeveloped areas at EDC. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about F&BV CDT’s current and planned activities. More importantly there will be the opportunity to put forward your ideas.

Are you or your community group interested in hosting a Climate for Change conversation?

We’re looking for generous people and groups to help keep the momentum going and host a Conversation with their community, friends, colleagues and neighbours – can we count on you?

Our facilitators are looking for hosts for local conversations in Caithness, Sutherland, Morayshire, Aberdeenshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas. We may be able to cover areas further afield too.

What is hosting?

Simply invite some friends, neighbours, colleagues, or a community group to a conversation at a local community space or in your home. Micro-grants for costs of venue and drinks and snacks are available and we’ll match you with a local facilitator.

Our facilitators will present information, answer questions and facilitate a discussion about climate change. At the end of the discussion, we invite participants to join us in taking regular action. We also invite participants to host their own Climate Conversation with their friends, so we can grow the number of conversations happening!

**Great News**
We are opening up again in the evening for our Community Garden drop in on Thursday 27rd June 6pm to 8pm.

If successful we will be running this every month over the warmer months.

So come join us at the Craigshill Community Garden on Maree walk for an early evening of taster sessions, find out what we are doing and how you can get involved.

This is a drop in session and refreshments will be provided.
