So what started as a simple reprise changed into something else entirely.

So the whole audio of the original track is still in there, brought down from 180 to 140bpm and heavily side-chained it still forms the underpinnings for a very heavily remixed version.
Originally released in 1996 as one of the final JR tracks and written almost entirely on a Juno 106 and a JV1080, I've added a few bits and pieces to make it a bit more current.
Anyways... Hardcore its not, but then neither am I these days :-)

This is a real oldie from way back in the early days of Jolly Roger, probably as far back as I'll go with the reprisals anyways.
Like the others I've only got the 2 channel audio to play with so limited to what I can do with it, tempo been brought down a notch and a couple of extras thrown in.
The original tune remains untouched as ultimately that's the goal :-)

Another dusting off of an oldie from the Jolly Roger Back Catalogue, original was a bit quicker at 184 bpm so Its been brought down a bit and had a couple of extras added, nothing major as I'm trying my best not to change anything from the originals... Reprise, not Remix :-)

Written at the same time as the Water Pistol EP, this was really meant to be a D-Tox tune. However things don't always turn out the way you expect.
Again just the 2 channel audio to work with from the original so removing some of the old percussion and adding a few new layers here and there.
Not a remix, just touching up the paintwork :-)

Out on Bass Generator around 94/95, written at the same time as the YRS (same synth on the lead) 🙂

This was probably the 1st hardcore track I wrote, written around the time of the YRS Stomp so I'm gonna say 94 / 95ish and released on Shoop so not a JR release this one.

Another change of tyres in a very old release.. Didn't spend top long on this one as the original recording wasn't the best.

This was a very early Jolly Roger release (1995) Original recording wasn't the best so limited in what I could do with it. Didn't spend long on this one at all, maybe an hour at best.

Another oldie given a quick tyre change. The quirky nature of JR releases meant it could be Hardcore, Hard Trance or Techno.. Or in this case Both Trance and Techno :-)
The original of this is 26 years old and sold mainly in Europe

Changing the tyres on another oldie of mines. The original of this started at 140Bpm and ended at 160 so I've dropped that to 122 to 140. It always had a bit of a dark foreboding to it this one so it
