🪽 As most of you know since i lost my mum 28th December 2019, i just didn’t know what i wanted to do with my life, my career or even what my purpose was

I looked after my mum till she took her last breath in my arms at just the young age of 59.

🩵 When i planned her funeral i did it with my best friend and we made sure we celebrated her life just like she wanted

My friend Kelly went in to funeral care around the time my mum passed and fell in love with industry working with bereaved families

💜 When i seen the care and compassion of this role i knew myself i too wanted to give back to families who had lost loved ones just like me

Not many people no, but i applied for a job within Co Op funeral care as an arranger & instantly fell in love with helping bereaved families too

💫 I had a vision to create a beautiful modern funeral parlour that was safe, calming, welcoming and allowed people to celebrate the life of their lost loved ones

I approached my dad with the idea and looked for premises. Two years ago i viewed the Barclays bank and put in an application to take it on. I was offered the premises, created a business plan and got the keys in May 2023

We made all our choices for funeral arrangements transparent, affordable and more importantly we have chosen to give bereaved families of children free funerals, we don’t charge for this

🦋 At Butterflies, we know that we cannot take your pain away but we can make the last final farewell journey of a lost loved one that little more easy. Every last detail will be taken care of by ourselves with us going above and beyond for every single family we look after
