Hi all, and hope you're having a great weekend. I'm slowly going to be moving my live streams over to Twitch as streaming on Facebook is causing lots of problems.

You may have noticed over the past couple of months here on Facebook, serious lag and streams dropping out. I've gone through everything my end to try and figure out why this is happening. On my last stream, Friday 26th April, the quality was terrible. As usual, I downloaded the stream from my Facebook Content page and uploaded it to our YouTube channel. After uploading the stream, the quality was much better which has finally led me to think its a Facebook issue.

The support you get on Facebook for creators is pretty much non existent and has been for a while. To cut a long story short, Facebook, or rather Meta, gave up on the live streaming side of there platform which has led to a phasing out of support. They originally tried to compete with the big two gaming live stream platforms in YouTube and mainly Twitch, but seem to have given up the ghost.

Unfortunately this is a sentiment felt by not just me, but countless other smaller, niche, Streamers like myself.

I will still try and post the streams I put up on Twitch, over here on my page, so non of my FANTASTIC followers miss out. I will also, as usual, continue to post my streams up on our YouTube channel.

Links for my/our Twitch and YouTube channels will be posted here, so hopefully you can just click and follow.

Sorry Carol, Mike Brewer and all my regular followers for the upheaval but I really do think it's the way forward in order for us to grow.

Please, please, if you have ANY concerns about this move, get in touch and we'll see how we can make this transition easier.
