A wing is so vast and it may look empty but is far from it. This brings us to the story’s you may have heard about the infamous shadow man, said to be that of an ex prison guard who lurks in the shadows waiting to make his presence known in his own way.
Many nights I’ve stood in A wing and known almost instantly that he is stood waiting for someone to spot him, I’ve been very lucky to have seen this infamous figure multiple times and one thing that I can say is that I’ve never felt scared or worried when I have seen him. In fact one night I was running from one end of the landing on the 4’s to the other because in that moment I thought I would be able to catch him, when I got to the other end of the landing I turned around just to see him standing in the shadows looking down the landing at me, bearing in mind you can just see him as a shadow, no face, no eyes..but even though he hasn’t got a face I felt like that night he was glaring into my soul 👻🖤

The landings on A wing must hold so many memories of the people that once walked them. Standing quietly on them in the dead of night having footsteps echoing around you can be quite daunting but I can guarantee most paranormal investigators absolutely thrive on this sort of activity, especially if the spirits involved want to & are willing to communicate. When I’ve been standing witnessing the activity first hand it doesn’t really sink in fully until the paranormal hangover kicks in the next day. The phenomena I’ve experienced just in A wing alone is enough to make your skin crawl.
