As you may have guessed, I now have a dedicated drum room! This means that I can have a kit fully setup, miced up and ready to go! The room is connected to my other room via a really long cable snake.
Having this room dramatically opens up when I can run sessions in the studio as well as making live multitracking a billion times easier. Im super excited to get started using it with bands asap. If you’ve been on the fence about recording, now’s the best time! Get in touch.

I may have mentioned to a few people interesting in recording with me though now it’s September I ought to make a public post about it.
I am increasing the price of studio time to £20 per hour.
This price includes each step of the recording process, from the recording to the mastering. A nice flat rate.

I have been writing and recording a song over the past few days to showcase what I can do at Big Al’s studio. Last night I recorded drums in the lounge of Stayfree! Doing it like this means that I am able to do ‘live’ band recordings while keeping each instrument isolated. That stage reel is 35m long! Which means I can put the drummer In pretty much any room in Stayfree Music!

Thanks to Bhav of .uk for being my session drummer for the evening!

Next is to mix this track and then I will release it on to YouTube. I’ll post the link here when it’s ready, cheers!

Just finished my second year of University. This means I’ve got a whole 6 months to twiddle my thumbs. I would love to fill that time recording music and making records!
