UPDATE

1) firstly sorry to have been quiet for 6 months. To speak openly I’ve been slowly working my way out of debt now through much of the year. Between juggling a decorating business (plus being away from home maybe 9 months of this year from that work) and doing various side gigs to make back the money I lost during the pandemic well… the label took a back foot. Everything to do with it did and my head plopped itself quite firmly in the sand until last week. It’s never been my intention to make the people that give a damn about the bands and label wait so long for products and all I can really say is sorry and that 2023 will not bring about anymore Charlie related disruptions. Through this I’ve learnt I can’t manage this by myself so I’ve set about getting some people on board to help with all things release and event related.
2) also note that now ALL OUTSTANDING ORDERS have been shipped
3) We’re no longer stocking Castle Face Records releases for d2c mailing. It was completely flattering and trusting of them to ask me to handle their UK mail order tick by while brexit fu**ed import taxes they’re now set up with something far more suitable to an operation their size 😊
4) Thee MVPs are doing a final tour this year dec 7-11. I’ll post the flyer here soon but check their page too. A lot of said debt was from surplus LPs that were meant for the 3 month world tour the pandemic cancelled in 2020 so errrr… come out and buy one please
5) we have upcoming releases from both PREDECEASED and Luxury Apartments and are peeking at many more.
6) them two and Tommy Cossack are doing an eeasy Xmas party w/ Permanent Creeps at Jaguar Shoes dec 2. So come bang yr. fu***ng heads
7) please consider an Xmas gift from any indie label this year. The majors, proxy war and lack of material resources have bottleneck led vinyl production even further so many regular people are struggling even more to put out records.
8) stay safe out there and sorry again. See you London heads in December and we’ll see the rest of the world in 2023. Thank you for supporting underground art
