The Your Herefordshire team would like to make it clear that following the announcement that a General Election will take place on Thursday 4th July, we will once again be rejecting any approaches from Political Parties, Groups and Independent Candidates to share paid partnerships during this period.

We believe that every person / group standing for election should get the same opportunity to share their plans, no matter how much financial backing they have.

We have already received an approach by a local political party to share paid partnerships ahead of the election, but as an independent news outlet, we believe that we should give every candidate the opportunity to share their plans.

This is a difficult decision, and one that very few news outlets will make, due to the potential financial incentives, but we respect our readers and believe that giving impartial coverage on such important matters is key.

We will be covering the plans of each candidate standing for Hereford & Herefordshire South, as well as Herefordshire North. This doesn’t mean that we are supporting any candidate in particular, but offering them each the chance to reach a huge audience.

We wish all candidates the very best of luck and look forward to hearing your plans for our beautiful county, should you get elected.

Thank you for reading.

Team YH.
