We finished off another busy week with the installation of this beautiful oak fire mantle.

Delivered and installed today to a great loyal client of ours in Ripley, Surrey.

This oak shelving unit has so much great storage in both the adjustable shelves above and the sliding cabinet below, and works effortlessly in this alcove to allow the colour of the wall to pop out against the whitened oak.

A quick trip down the Highgate in London today to deliver this beautiful blue set of library steps! Made with an extra third step to make reaching the top bookshelf possible, and sprayed in to match the decor in the room.

We are thrilled and honoured to announce that last night we won the Environmental and sustainability Award at the North Notts Business Awards! 🌿✨

It was a wonderful night surrounded by incredible businesses, all striving for excellence. We are truly humbled to have been recognised alongside so many talented and inspiring companies.

It’s amazing to be recognised for the hard work we put into being more eco friendly and we hope to inspire more companies to do the same.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a beautiful and memorable event!

I do love the autumn afternoons, the light is beautiful in the workshop. A nice steady Friday afternoon hand finishing some joints on this bench top in oak.

It’s just one month to go until our Contemporary Craft Fair at Hever Castle & Gardens (12-15 September). Visit to view and purchase work from over 180 exhibitors selected from the UK’s finest contemporary craftmakers and artists. The event is set within the award-winning Hever Castle Gardens set in 125 acres of glorious grounds with the backdrop of the historic castle – the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. A visit will make an interesting day out for everyone as it includes demonstrations which will give visitors an insight into the creative processes. There’s also live music and various options for food and drink. Very honoured to be invited along to the rally this evening to select the Landlords Choice award from this spectacular array of machines! Winner will be revealed tomorrow at their lunch meet but needless to say it was a difficult decision to make. Plus I know next to nothing about bikes… but hopefully I’ve picked a worthy winner!

How slick do these trophies look? We make bespoke trophies through our sister company from scraps of wood that come from our furniture, and turn them into amazing creations like these using our laser engraver to personalise the wording and design to suit the needs. These are destined for a big Moto Guzzi rally in Nottinghamshire and is the third year we’ve supplied the awards. 6 awards in red for best in category and the single gold for the best overall!

Spent the afternoon refinishing one of our tables that was made 30 years ago! It’s never been refinished in all those years and even though it still looked remarkably good for the age and use it’s had, it has come up gleaming after much (MUCH) sanding and a fresh coat of protective oil. So nice to see the beautiful ash grain again in all its glory!
