We’re thrilled to announce that tomorrow, 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, Collins will be sponsoring the Notts Young Farmers Clubs 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮’𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝘂𝗻🎄.

Not only will we be keeping the volunteers at each stop warm and safe with brand-new motorway hi-vis jackets and cosy head torch beanie hats, we’ll also be taking part with 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 - all decked out in dazzling Christmas lights!

🎁 This heartwarming event features a procession of 83 festive tractors, including Santa himself, spreading Christmas cheer through Southwell and the surrounding villages.

📜 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱
The Santa Tractor Run began during lockdown to bring joy to local communities when traditional fundraisers were on hold. It was such a hit that it’s now a beloved annual tradition, lighting up hearts and roads alike.

Collins Demolition Ltd are a professional, pre-commencement enabling contractor with a reputation as one of the UK’s leading demolition and dismantling organisations with an excellent approach to quality, innovation, health and safety. We are full NFDC members and fully licensed for asbestos removal. Due to continued business growth, we are looking for an experienced Demolition HSEQ Advisor.
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

• Responsible to the directors and working within the HSQE Team, the successful candidate will report to the senior HSEQ advisor to support operational teams and management to deliver the health, safety, quality and environmental targets and objectives of the company.
• This role will include supporting the development and implementation of both proactive and reactive strategies, conducting site inspections, incident investigations and the implementation of programmes to reduce incidents whilst promoting continual improvement.
• It will involve regular interaction with our operational site teams, supply chain and both on and off site staff to develop safe and healthy working relationships, whilst advising and supporting operational teams on project specific health, safety, quality and environment issues.
• Actively identify areas for improvement and contribute to plans aimed at reducing the occurrence of incidents.
• Provision of proactive support and coaching to operational site teams.
• Ensure that site teams are proactive, up to date and comply with current health, safety and environmental legislation, best practice and Company standards.
• Undertake audits and inspections, record findings, advise site and line management as appropriate and conduct follow up assurance ensuring nonconformities or actions have been completed within designated timescales.
• Support, tenders and pre-qualification process of sub-contractors where required.
• Provide technical and specialist HSQE support to line and site management
• Monitor site compliance with statutory HSE responsibilities and the business management system.
• Assist in development and implementation of strategies, campaigns and improvement plans.
• Creation of project construction phase plans (CPP), risk assessments and method statements (RAMs).
• Attend and support pre-start, start-up, site and client meetings as required.
• Review site procedures and practices as required and report to the management team as appropriate.
• Conduct incident investigation to identify root cause and recommendations to prevent reoccurrence, produce and manage incident reports in designated timescales.
• Assist with the production of month end reports in a timely manner.
• Report to HSEQ and operations management teams on a regular basis and attends meetings as required for and on behalf of the Group.

Person Specification:

• CCDO / PQP card
• IOSH membership
• Lifting Appointed Person qualification
• Asbestos removal experience, preferably licensed removal
• Experience working with management systems 45001, 14001 and 9001
• Hold a minimum qualification of NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• CSCS card
• Demolition contractor experience
• Relevant HSQE experience in demolition
• Technical knowledge of the CDM regulations and experience within a contractor and principal contractor role
• Temporary works experience
• Experience working with large mobile plant and site engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate and engage at all levels
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Full UK Driving License
• PC literate - with experience of using Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and use of the internet.

This is a full-time position. Salary will be dependent on experience. Collins operate an auto-enrolment pension scheme for employees. The successful candidate will be required to undertake 6 months probationary period. Collins head office is based in Ripley, Derbyshire with sites nationwide.
