🤔 Does everybody need to be a naturist?

That’s the question Helen Berriman explores - and it’s one worth thinking about.

The more she listens to women, newcomers, nervous first-timers, long-standing naturists and those who are quietly curious but not quite ready, the clearer something becomes: perhaps the biggest barrier to naturism isn’t society’s disapproval. It isn’t necessarily misunderstanding, either.

Sometimes, the hardest part is simply taking that first step.

What makes people hesitate? What helps someone feel comfortable enough to give naturism a try? And does everyone need to become a ‘naturist’ in the first place just to enjoy social nudity?

The August issue of H&E Naturist is out now. And there’s more to naturism than you might think…

This month at H&E, we're looking backwards, forwards - and right around the world.

August is Nudist History Month, so we're uncovering some of the people and movements that helped make modern naturism possible.
