Das Kapitans and Mices have combined to create a 6 track EP due for release February 14th 2025 on vinyl and online.

3 brand new songs from Kapitans.
3 brand new songs from Mices.

The EP is called ‘Split’.

To help get the physical copies of the release there is a crowdfunder where you can pick from a number of different bundles including vinyl, T-shirts, stickers and the ultimate mega bundle where you can have a personalised song written and recorded for you.

I have decided to donate the budget I would usually spend on a music video to Peterborough Soup Kitchen. Given the topic of the upcoming track, I think this would be an appropriate gesture to help my local community.

Peterborough Soup Kitchen have been operating since 1983. They specialise in feeding the homeless & disadvantaged and in 2023 they served over 18,000 people, ensuring that those in need received food & drink.

I am going to begin the donations with my own £300 (which is my usual budget for a music video) and I am asking you to donate a small sum of your choosing, so that collectively we can donate £500.

And for an added incentive, if we reach the goal of £500 by November 29th; the release date of the track, I will release another new track on December 13th.

Something a bit different in the New Year. January 29th we’ve teamed up with Good Shout Spoken Word and Here We Aren't to bring you an evening of punk poetry and music.

Attila the Stockbroker is headlining the event and we’ve got Socks Ons very own Dan Donovan - Muso/Artist playing some of his grizzly tunes (acoustic/solo). Local poets Adi Surridge and Dave Horgan will complete the line up.

Sensible times for a school night 7pm-10pm. Get tickets quick.

We have joined forces with Yellow Tape Promotions The Nerve Agency and Kaset Skatepark & Music Community in Kings Lynn to put on 20 bands across two stages on December 21st.

A ridiculous line up featuring bands like Other Half Eat Your Own Head Das Kapitans CLUB BRAT Call to the Faithful MOSKITO and tonnes more.

There will be a bar, food stalls, people selling stuff, people on skateboards, people doing things we didn’t know they would be doing and more.

Under 14s go free with an adult so bring the family along.
