Mex will be taking care of breakfast on Genx Radio Suffolk this Saturday from 7 while i'm treading the boards. Then 18th of January will be my last Saturday breakfast show. Rolling Stones will be my BOGOF. Any suggestions for two Stones songs?

Good morning and welcome to the first Saturday breakfast on GenX Radio Suffolk in 2025. Its a bit nippy out there today. I've just been out with George and the paths and untreated roads are like a skating rink! My excitement is mounting as I look forward to Panto week next week. All the many hours of rehearsal will now come to the fore.

On the show today our Bogoff is Argent at around 0735. There's the national front pages and Stargazing will be checking out your horoscope for 4 January.

The big question today is: what have you over indulged in over the festive period. Let me know! 7am, don't be late!

I'm upcycled, full of turkey but back with you at 7am tomorrow on GenX Radio Suffolk. It's that silly time between Christmas and New Year when no-one has a clue what day it is, especially me, welcome to my world!
Battle of the Barbers has its final airing today with Giovanni and Ciro, we look at your horoscope and check out the front pages of the nationals and the bogof this week is a brace from Vincent Damon Furnier! See you at 7am, sharp! (BTW if you missed my reggae show yesterday its being repeated tonight at 8pm which is a great show of faith as most of my stuff isn't worth repeating Lol.)

Good morning its the last Saturday breakfast show before Christmas! This weekend I have the grandchildren staying so its going to be a busy one!
On the show today to help you with your chores, the barbers are in a festive mood, Stargazing will be enlightening, i'll check the national newspaper front pages and Rod has a Bogof for you.
The question this week, what keeps you awake at night in the run up to Christmas? For me its not buying enough sprouts. Over to you!

The Barbers and you, are in for a treat because the Donkey song will be played! Just two more Saturday shows before Christmas and I'm sort of sorted. The Bogof this week will be the Jam along with Stargazing, the front pages of the nationals and my dynamic personality. Well that stopped the conversation! See you at 7am.
BTW George dressed in an early Christmas present. He's not very impressed!

Its the night before....I return to Saturday breakfast from 0700. Did you miss me? Don't all rush to answer that! Thanks to Mex for looking after the show last week while i had my family up for our Christmas get together. I've a question for you. What one tip would you give for a successful family Christmas gathering?
On the show tomorrow the national newspaper front pages, your Saturday horoscope. The Battle of the Barbers will be doing its best to entertain. On Sunday it will be 44 years since John Lennon was killed, so this week he will be our Bogof.

Good afternoon die-hard up-cycled fans of NL! Here's a great find from my mate and former roadie Geoff who worked on not only the Norman Lloyd Roadshow with me and Chris the tech but also with the Radio Orwell Roadshow. Our boss Wendy is also in the picture. This picture from about 1979/1980 ish. Very happy pioneering days they were too.

On Saturday breakfast tomorrow its time to play a brace from Kenny Rogers. I am bringing back some brain teasers to get yours working! The Battle of the Barbers, your Saturday Horoscope and the front pages of the national newspapers make up the show along with great music and wit. BTW at least one of those is a given!

I have struggled with Man Flu all week but don't worry I'll only be spreading good music and wit on Saturday breakfast!
The Bogof comes from The Marvelettes, the first successful act of Motown Records, after the Miracles, and its first significantly successful female group. I will be gazing into the sky again with Stargazing. There will be another famous quote in 'I Wish Ida Said That' plus those Italian crimpers challenge to be the best joker in Battle of the Barbers. Can I ask a personal question? Have you sorted Christmas yet? The Up-cycled Norman Lloyd, the perfect start to the weekend. Someone has to say it!

I was doing so well before last night. Drugged up but ready to deliver breakfast on GenX Radio Suffolk from 7am tomorrow.
All the normal stuff, the papers, your Saturday horoscope, I Wish Ida Said That and those Fratelli Italiani star in Battle of the Barbers. The Bogof this week is from A-Ha.

Good morning early birds. What exciting things have you planned for today? From my part I am singing with the Felixstowe Community Choir tonight at St John's the Baptist Church in Orwell Road Felixstowe. The fabulous Last Night of the Proms with the Felixstowe Festival Choir.and Felixstowe Community Choir at 7pm £16 Inc glass of vino. Children free. Over to you. Random picture. Any ideas? Lol 😆
