The very last two Hythe umbrellas are in the hands of two smiling faces.
People of the Town, you have blown us away with your support.
Over 3,000 likes on social media and 100 people came dashing to the shop to grab an umbrella on the day they were taken down.
It seems we as a town are really up for something bright, fun, quirky and colourful. It seems the only unhappy people are the local council.
But let us work on them. Watch this space.
In the meantime, it's not too late to pop in for a last minute Deli gift or Cuban cigar Christmas present.

Good news though, the contractors have very kindly left the umbrellas at the shop. So if anyone would like a free Hythe High Street umbrella momento, just pop in

Bah humbug. The umbrellas magically appeared again in time for late night shopping in Hythe Business & Tourism Association and brought joy and selfies and smiles to many. But it seems we are only allowed so much joy this year and the local council have swooped in to take away our smiles. Hey Ho. Merry Christmas Everyone. we are still serving with a smile.
