Claire Paxman

Claire Paxman The big sister of cold cap treatment, here to help. ❤️ The Paxman family discovered that this sense of patient helplessness was common.

More than 25 years ago, Claire Paxman’s mum, Sue Paxman experienced first-hand the effect that chemotherapy-induced hair loss had on her quality of life. In fact, chemotherapy-induced alopecia remains one of the top five most distressing cancer treatment side effects, to this day. Having cut her late Mum’s hair off aged 14, Claire set out to stop others from having to deal this most feared side ef

All set up and ready to run our first UK Clinical Pioneer Programme of the year.

The Programme is a day’s training and accreditation which ensures that all attendees become experts in scalp cooling. The Programme provides in depth education instilling confidence and motivation in clinical teams, ensuring they can deliver scalp cooling excellence with the best possible outcomes for their patients.
With achievable quality standards, supportive consultancy and accessible information, the Programme is open to any member of the oncology team and extends beyond the standard Paxman training with a mixture of presentations and hands on training.
We recognize all the hard work and commitment that all the wonderful people in the medical profession commit to patients, and we would like to provide training and support to ensure that their passion and drive to go above and beyond results in the best possible outcomes for patients.
