She’d spent the morning sipping black coffee at a tiny table by the window, watching the street awaken—children’s laughter echoing from the schoolyard, the rhythmic clatter of bicycles, the muted conversations of passersby. Each sound was a thread in a tapestry she was weaving for herself, not because she lacked companionship, but because she was finally comfortable in her own company.

Later, she wandered through a local art market, paesly stopping at stalls brimming with hand‑crafted jewellery and vibrant paintings. She ran her fingers over a delicate silver necklace, its intricate design mirroring the complexity she felt inside: multifaceted, beautiful, and uniquely hers. The vendor, a gentle soul with eyes that seemed to have seen many stories, noticed her lingering and smiled, offering a quiet “That one suits you.” She smiled back, feeling a connection that didn’t require words—a shared acknowledgment of the beauty in simply being.

The afternoon melted into a leisurely stroll along the riverbank. The water’s surface rippled with the breeze, creating fleeting reflections that shifted and reformed like thoughts in a mindful mind.
