Created for the Hertfordshire County Council Fostering and Adoption team to highlight the urgent need for more foster carers in Hertfordshire to keep brothers and sisters together. Shining a spotlight on the heartbreaking statistic that more than half of siblings in care are separated.

More ‘out in the wild’ Peachy artwork spotted. This time out on the sunny streets of our very own Hitchin. A poster created for Visit Hitchin - a Hitchin BID organisation. The countdown is on to the coronation. Anyone local to Hitchin can pop down to the Market Place to watch the action live on the big screen while partaking in a Pimm’s or two!

We’re delighted with the success so far of the ‘Keep us together’ campaign launch for the Hertfordshire County Council Fostering and Adoption team - including a slot on Good Morning Britain, air time on BBC 3 counties radio, and an article in the Hertfordshire Mercury.

is a campaign that highlights the urgent need for more foster carers in Hertfordshire to keep brothers and sisters together. Shining a spotlight on the heartbreaking statistic that more than half of siblings in care are separated.

The Peachy team developed the creative for the campaign, and managed the creation of all creative content including the scriptwriting, filming, photography and design applications for the launch.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the advertising elements, which can now be seen on billboards, bus sides and advertising posters throughout Hertfordshire.

Snapshot of some of the crisis care campaign creative we created for the Hertfordshire Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Health and Care Partnership. Signposting people in crisis to organisations in the community where they can receive mental health care and support.

As well as developing a creative concept, we created posters, leaflets, a pocket-sized concertina leaflet, social media graphics and a digital screensaver. We managed the print and distribution throughout Hertfordshire, as well as bolt-on print and distribution of materials for the Samaritans.

We recently partnered with the Hertfordshire Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Health and Care Partnership to help them deliver their winter crisis campaign.

This involved creating, printing and distributing infographics, posters, leaflets and social media assets so they could spread their message all across Hertfordshire! Helping signpost people in crisis to organisations in the community where they can receive mental health care and support.

Curious to meet the team behind the magic @ Peachy? Let’s meet Mel, our Account Director, or as we like to call her - our Client Happiness Engineer. Over to you Mel…

Originally hailing from Sydney, I’m now settled in Central Bedfordshire with my two boys, who will both soon be taller than me!

My background was science, with a focus on biochemistry and cell culture, but I got lonely working in a lab and made the switch over to the creative industry back in 2005.

I have ankylosing spondylitis (AS), but refuse to let it define me. It’s a type of inflammatory arthritis of the spine, with my knees, hips and neck worst affected. It took 14 painful years to get a diagnosis, and at my worst even walking was a struggle. I am eternally grateful to the amazing rheumatology team over at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. I am now on biologic therapy that has literally given me my life back!

AS is incurable, but caught early, you can stop permanent damage being done to your body. I urge anyone with unexplained early onset back pain (before the age of 40) to head over to actonaxialspa.com and use their symptom checker!

With my health back on track, I discovered a love of hiking! Last year I set myself the challenge of climbing the 3 peaks - Snowdon, Scafell and Nevis. Each wonderful in their own way, but Ben Nevis was the scene stealer for me! 2023 is the year of coastal walks, with the north coast of Cornwall and the Valley of Rocks in Devon already booked in!

I spent my formative childhood years growing up in the tropics of Papua New Guinea - and it’s given me the travel bug. Definitely more suited to sunnier climes, but love the culture and history of Europe. So many places on my ‘must visit’ list - so little time! If I could choose one place to visit tomorrow, it would have to be Machu Picchu. One day!

Printed brochures - with an ever growing focus on ESG strategy, we are increasingly creating digital brochures and content for our clients. Though sometimes it’s still nice to hold a tactile brochure in your hand. These days we’re using print to supplement digital content - smaller print runs and carefully curated print specifications to suit the target audience.

Here’s a development brochure we recently completed for Grand Union Housing Group, for their largest ever scheme - an over 55’s development in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

It’s a wrap! Filming for the new creative campaign for Hertfordshire County Council’s Fostering & Adoption team was a huge success. Massive thanks to all volunteers who helped make the day possible! Especially our little ‘foster children’ superstars!

The creative campaign, titled ‘All alone’, shines a spotlight on sibling separation in foster care, and the urgent need for more foster carers in Hertfordshire.

The campaign launches at the end of March. Watch this space!

This week we've been busy finalising a script for our latest creative campaign for Hertfordshire County Council; aimed at recruiting more foster carers in Hertfordshire for sibling groups.

Currently more than half of siblings in foster care are separated - a heartbreaking statistic.

We're excited to get filming underway and be part of something that can make a big difference to the lives of children and young people.

Casting call…
Calling any budding actors in the Herts/Beds area? We’re working on a short film highlighting the urgent need for foster carers in Hertfordshire.

We’re looking for two children approximately 6 and 10 years old. Must be able to act with emotion. We also need four adults, including people with a mixed ethnic background.

Filming is currently set for one day - Sunday 12th February. Will be in the local area. Travel expenses paid.

The finished film will be released in March and be accompanied by a marketing and billboard campaign throughout Hertfordshire. The previous fostering film was also broadcast on Sky. Post-edit photography taken on the day will be supplied to all successful candidates to be used as part of your portfolio if you wish.

Anyone interested, please email me on [email protected] along with name, age, a recent photograph, and a few lines about yourself/your child, and I’ll get back to you with more information. Closing date: Sunday 5th February 2023.

Happy client = Happy us

We’ve partnered with the charity NASS since 2021, assisting them with the delivery of reports and branding projects, including the research, discovery and launch of a new sub-brand.

NASS is dedicated to transforming the diagnosis and care of people in the UK living with axial spondyloarthritis - that’s 1 in 200 adults!

Mel and her family are completing as many miles as they can in May to raise money for Children on the Edge, a charity doing amazing work to support children who have fled Ukraine.

This weekends challenge was to climb Mount Snowdon, which Mel managed to tackle in 4.5 hours - not bad for someone who for 14 years struggled to get up a flight of stairs due to Ankylosing Spondylitis! Another 30 miles in the bag exploring Snowdonia, bringing this weeks total to 99.4 miles.
