Last post of 2024 and New Year’s Eve always makes me reflective I’ve achieved a lot in 2024 and made some amazing memories can’t wait to make more in 2025 and feel very blessed be able to do so.
We are at the start of a new chapter and 365 brand new pages so if you’re struggling remember health and happiness are most important and cost nothing get outside and do stuff that makes you happy time is always ticking make every day count. Embrace what you have not what’s lost and invest in those that invest in you ❤️

What’s everyone’s plans over Christmas any hikes planned? Well this evening I’ve booked to go to Alnwick to see the night time lights and it would seem picked great weather for it life is what you make it I suppose lol 😂 good job the human body is one of the most waterproof things on earth

Well this little set should be called lush first time at coniston mixed with the heading lakes pea soup and how do you actually get you’re dog to sit still for a picture lol 😂
Great day in the mines of coniston and up to the old man but also suffering possibly the worst fall in the lakes I’ve ever had thankfully still in one piece and picked out some great future pitching spots lol 😂

Nearly up to 280 followers thanks for your support if you don’t mind sharing my page that would be great.
I’m hoping eventually to try set up some group walking or camping so any suggestions or ideas would be interesting
In the past my winter walking and camping tends to go a bit quiet but I’m hoping to expand my kit to stay in the hills over winter and catch some nice pictures of winter sunsets and sunrises.
Four season tent sorted just need the sleeping gear and to keep the dog warm lol

So what’s everyone up to tonight the aurora is meant to be more visible then last night which will be tough to beat I’m a mix between doing the lakes and wild camping on walla crag to get some pics or just travelling round a few photo hot spots there any suggestions ? Whatever it is it will be hiking with a head torch in the dark cos the earliest i can get there is around nine 🤦‍♀️
