So like I said yesterday .. I’ll make the full size version of the prototype I made and here it is.

I’ll do a few modifications going forward especially to the feet and make them deeper to accommodate books a bit better but overall I’m super pleased with it.

Thank you for watching the latest video where I’m making two pairs of planters. Beginner friendly and a ton of money to be made if you sell them in your local areas.
I really enjoyed this build and I hope you do too, decorative and great to give as gifts!
I’ve used a combination of scrap wood and new wood but you can use anything and I’m sure these would look cool made from pallets.

Using scrap wood always makes me feel good.. I hate waste and these were two pieces of 4x4s that come from another project.

My Mrs bought these succulent plant things and a few easy holes and they look cool.

Nobody likes sanding but I find it quite therapeutic! This was a small section of sanding I was doing of a project I’m currently working on making two workshop “Smart Tables” that will have loads of features & different uses.

As you probably seen my review the other week of the sander where I gave it a bit of a slating, I didn’t want to give up on it and give it more of a chance.
It was impossible to use and i could not understand why as this brand is normally very good with robust products that last ages. I had a tinker with it and after doing a bit of research I loosened the hook & loop backing pad half a turn with a hex key and took the dust box off and this resulted in it working perfectly apart from now not having the dust collection.
The jawhorse I gave a initial review a few weeks back and I’ll give it some abuse before I do a full review but I’ll tell you upfront it’s one of the best bits of kit to have around, virtually indestructible and super versatile.. this can be easily purchased via the lumberjack website or visit there insta page

I was seeing a lot of information on the international interweb about Temu and buying from there..
me being the way I am and sceptical about things decided to order a few bits I can use around my shop and I’m glad I bought them. No problem at all, from order to delivery took roughly 2 weeks.. package it come in could be better but everything was fine. We got tracking, updates along the way and overall was happy the service which was provided.
The items we ordered and if I’m honest I didn’t expect the decent quality I actually got.. more than happy!

I know people can be a bit sceptical and suspicious about ordering from China but I think this is because all the big businesses that are profiteering from ordinary working people are telling people bad things and throwing negativity about. Common sense tells me these people are covering their own bases and trying to make sure they profit from you.

We bought these items using our own money and are not sponsored in any way by Temu, my comments are honest and I’m only trying to help all the guys and girls out there who loves woodworking.

All in all on this experience buying from was good and I’ll be ordering again!

How do you deal with broken old furniture? Well we try and use up all the stuff that’s not fit to sell and try and use the wood in various projects. Being a full time antique furniture dealer getting wood of age is tough so things like this are a bit of a goldmine for us. What would you pay for solid mahogany these days? and if you can actually get it..

I’ve made a solid designer pen using the wood and bought a top top quality mechanism and the results are amazing.. totally unique and a complete one off, ideal for that perfect gift..

Where else can you say my pen was an antique chair? You will own a little piece of history and done a bit for the environment so it’s a total win all round ❤️

Crafters Workshop Table

These are fantastic if you have a home workshop, crafter or need a specific type of table for a heavy tool. Pictured here with a sanding station setup this table is super strong, handmade to order in our warehouse in Derbyshire.
Not to be confused with the lesser quality ones you see about these can be made to a specific height, length and all come 60cm deep. Heavy duty castors are fitted and 2 are lockable, if you don’t require castors please let us know.

Sizes can be anything within the parameters of 120 long, 62 deep and 90 high cms so you can really dial down on a specific size. Also the one pictured is finished in a raw wood finish but we have the option of stain.. light, medium or dark oak finish to the base.

They all come fully assembled so no need to tinker with spanners, we just ask that they get delivered to ground floor and help for the driver to get it into your property.

They are made using high quality solid wood with the top being a superb quality 18mm hardwood ply which we have fitted so you could easily unscrew and flip over if you need to do so in the future.

These are total quality, not cheap imported items and are made to last, over engineered to give strength & stability and this one is lightweight so ease of movement is fantastic.
