We have been putting on Jazz funk Soul events since 1982 where we started off in a club called 151 in Great Yarmouth on Wednesday night.We packed this out and out outgrew it and ended up at Aquarius in the Marina Centre.We had DJS such as Pete Tong, Jeff Young, Robbie Vincent, Bob Masters, and a young Tony Fernandez.We added a jazz room and started doing things with Bob Jones and Giles Peterson. A

fter a few years we worked with channel 4 solid soul program with Mark webster and Merv Anthony and met a young research at the time Jonathan Ross. As parties got Bigger, we did all dayers and B&B weekenders at Tiffanys.We then moved onto acid house, but this was nice my favourite time. We took a few years out and then got involved in forming Soul Village weekender (which im no longer part of, but so proud of what they achieved)As well as this started up my parties again with ex footballer Dale Gordon.Now i help run Great Yarmouth Soul Festival, East Anglian Soul Music awards as well still carrying on my Dj residencys and Richards Parties events.Thanks for keeping the parties going all these years.
