We have been putting on Jazz funk Soul events since 1982 where we started off in a club called 151 in Great Yarmouth on Wednesday night.We packed this out and out outgrew it and ended up at Aquarius in the Marina Centre.We had DJS such as Pete Tong, Jeff Young, Robbie Vincent, Bob Masters, and a young Tony Fernandez.We added a jazz room and started doing things with Bob Jones and Giles Peterson. A

fter a few years we worked with channel 4 solid soul program with Mark webster and Merv Anthony and met a young research at the time Jonathan Ross. As parties got Bigger, we did all dayers and B&B weekenders at Tiffanys.We then moved onto acid house, but this was nice my favourite time. We took a few years out and then got involved in forming Soul Village weekender (which im no longer part of, but so proud of what they achieved)As well as this started up my parties again with ex footballer Dale Gordon.Now i help run Great Yarmouth Soul Festival, East Anglian Soul Music awards as well still carrying on my Dj residencys and Richards Parties events.Thanks for keeping the parties going all these years.

Hi everyone.
Many thanks to everyone who has purchased tickets for tomorrow. Yes there are tickets on the door. We advise arrive entry in case if we hit capacity.
Due to being in the shop tomorrow, I will be unable to message back.
A polite message this is a ticket event and the charge is £10 per person .
please do not play our ticket people up.
We know 99% of you are good as gold. If you refuse to pay you will be refused any entry.
Finally, get your dancing friends together, have fun, and let's have a good one tomorrow night.

Absolute amazed.
Now over 200 tickets sold for this sat night for my Xmas party at the jube,great line up with tony fernandez, chris Charlie brown, chris Alexander, aidrian jae, Shawn owen , paul trinder and the Cambridge gang.only £10 a ticket.

Don't delay and order online or come into What Is Hip, Gorleston High St.
We welcome DJ Tony Fernandez back to Great Yarmouth, a regular on our line ups since the 80s.
By 1984 he had his own little gig in Blues Wine Bar, Waltham Cross with Mervyn Lyn and a year later moved onto Rifles in Enfield, a notable north London nightspot, and where Tony resided as the club’s mainstay DJ for 10 years.
Residencies have also included, Soulgood, Richard’s Parties, The East Anglian Soul Weekend, Family Affair, CampSoul and Hayling Island Weekender. Tony has also presented shows on Solar Radio and Stomp Radio, as well as played the world famous Caister Soul Weekender between 1986-1992.

I forgot to announce we raised just over £900 last event, so thankyou very much who came and donated. Money transferred over and Connor was ever so grateful, it means he can have a more comfortable Christmas with his family now.
