Typical commercial Starlink installation at a large nursery in Cheshire. There’s no fibre, poor 4G signal, even tried satellite broadband but due to the trees on the site there was no line of site so Starlink was the only but best solution. One happy customer too!

Another Starlink installation today for a customer who had only 5mbps download speed before with his old internet supplier which was no good if he had to work from home. Now he has speeds of around 200 Mbps plus.

Today I installed the latest generation 3 Starlink dish. These no longer self align themselves like the gen 2s so have to be aligned using the app but just look at that speed!

Yes I still install aerials! although not many these days with the internet taking over. This was a high gain Vision 48 element 5G/4G K band aerial perfect for fringe area reception of the Winter Hill transmitter.

A domestic Starlink installation today and probably the quickest and easiest one I have ever done. A Starlink ridge mount was used to accommodate the antenna. No drilling required for this, just needed to drill the entry hole for the cable. The ridge mount is fully adjustable to mould itself to the roof shape. Photo shows the ridge mount without weights (which slot into the mount) which had not arrived when I was there but these will be fitted later today by the customer.
