*Christmas Appeal from Police Care UK*:
During all our merriment, it is far too easy to forget the thousands and thousands of people who work tirelessly to keep us safe. The sobering truth is that an estimated 10,000 police officers in the UK will have been injured in service this year. For them, their families and loved ones, the season is often bittersweet as they struggle to get back to work or recover in other ways. We are proud to support thousands of these families every year, and we kindly ask for your support so we can do much more. As the UK's only national police charity supporting the whole police community, including current and former officers, staff, and their families, we want to ensure we continue to be here to support those who need us for many years to come.
