‼️ It’s a must listen for men of ALL AGES just because your mental health matters ‼️

I had a great chat with Kieran and Scott from M.W.I - Men With Issues - a Men’s Mental Health Peer Support Group in EK. They’ve been building a brotherhood of men who struggle in their own way single January 2024 and they have around 30/40 and sometimes 60 men attending their weekly meetings and events.

Their meetings days and times can be seen in the pictures below 👇

You can follow them on instagram by searching for mwi_men

The group exists because men
👬👬👬👬👬👬👬👬👬👬👬👬👬in Scotland NEED HELP and a SUPPORT NETWORK.

Scotland has the highest su***de rate in Europe. Of the 762 registered last year (which is 2 per day), 73% were male.

Men attend for various mental health issues and can be signposted for other support if needed.

Kieran, Scott amd Danny promise a warm welcome to anyone suffering with mental health issues.

They do not promise to fix anyone as that’s not even possible, however they create a safe space for men to be SEEN and HEARD no matter what they are experiencing in their life.

There’s is no pressure to speak at the meetings and you can reach out to them via their socials beforehand.

You can attend with fear and courage as that’s how most of us go to these places as we face our issues.

I am in awe of the courage of these three founders and all of the men who attend.

It’s our birthright to be happy ! It’s our natural state of being.

Give yourself the gift of brotherhood and a support network if you need it.
