We’re making exciting changes to your recycling service!

Starting in Knightswood in March we’ll be providing Kerbside properties with a new grey bin - and changing what you can recycle in your blue bin.

Don’t worry - we’ll provide you with a letter with an information pack in the post which contains a leaflet telling you about the new recycling service, a collection calendar, and stickers for your blue and green bins before these changes take place, but until then you can find out more on our website 👉glasgow.gov.uk/30575

🎆 With Bonfire Night being on a Sunday this year, there might be private and public displays near you right across the weekend.

We hope hearing from our behaviourist Claire over the last few weeks has been helpful in preparing you and your animals.

Celebrating Bonfire Night tonight? 🎆 Did you know ?❔👇

👩‍🚒 Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is 4 times busier than usual on 5th November, wasting time and resources attending unsafe bonfires.
🐶Fireworks can be particularly distressing to pets and animals.
🙅‍♂️ Fireworks can also be distressing for some people who experience sensory impairment.

Our advice is always to attend an organised public fireworks display. It's safer and better for the environment.

If you are still planning a private display, never leave children unattended, always follow the Firework Code and read the safety instructions on each firework.
