⏰ Job Share Handover Day Fund
Our job sharing handover fund, supported by Screen Scotland, is available to any productions hiring a new job share pairing. The fund can cover the cost of the weekly handover day required by job sharers to help remove this additional cost that can sometimes create a financial barrier to job-sharers being employed.
💻Film Bang Job Share Icon
Following consultation with BECTU Vision Film Bang have added a new icon and search function to their website. Crew can now add the Open to Job Sharing icon to their listings, to allow others to find them and highlight to productions that they are available for job sharing positions.

In our final BIG reveal for tomorrows Book Week Scotland event, we are absolutely over the moon to welcome an EXCLUSIVE international guest - Diana Van Wijngaarden, who will be joining our panel of experts to talk about creativity, the appeal of and about her upcoming feature film project .
Diana is an award-winning journalist, writer and screenwriter, who has written for several publishing houses. She enjoys photography - and from an early age, had a passion for story-telling. She is author of several internationally acclaimed children’s stories, articles, scripts and poetry.
Our panel is supported by Creative Scotland and Scottish Book Trust in collaboration with Spirit of Springburn and Springburn TV - and is set to begin 2.15pm at Springburn Community Hub, with free tea, coffee and refreshments to all in attendance - plus the chance to WIN £100 in shopping vouchers.

In the THIRD of our special reveals for the Book Week Scotland event tomorrow, we are delighted to welcome Carmen Capuano - a born published author, screenwriter and producer to the panel. Carmen, who used to live in before relocating has been commissioned to polish scripts, develop NHS teaching apps and write projects for ‘A list’ talent and directors in the US.
She is also CEO of Emmeline Productions, and works with a variety of production companies around the world to deliver pitches all UK broadcasters and global streamers. To date she has written 29 books, and is working on an enchanting new children’s story for schools.
The event begins 2.15pm at Springburn Community Hub, with free tea and coffee provided.

M.J. (Michelle) grew up in , and discovered books such as “Flowers in the Attic” by VC Andrews and “The Stand” by Stephen King on her Grandfather’s bookshelf, then attending Turnbull High School before going onto a career within the Scottish Creative Industry.

We're pleased to share the news that following a successful to the UK Government for it to create an for those affected by the 2023 writers and actors strikes in the US, MPs have called together the House Of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee to assist UK crews and freelancers.
Although the WGA strike has reached a resolution with major studios and streamers, the strikes are however still ongoing. , the British union for workers in the , surveyed some 40000 members, with three-quarters of its members currently out of work due to studio and project delays.
4 also recently announced that they will now be looking at project priorities for 2025, giving an even bleaker look at the TV landscape in the UK over the next eighteen months.

Bad Pony Media Productions is thrilled to announce the return of The Authors Series! 📚 📖 📕
The show - which profiles the best Scottish and international authors, was successfully piloted during Covid-19, and began recording its first season 2021-2022 - however, due to production delays saw a brief hiatus.
The series will go into production again over the coming weeks, and begin re-airing from episode one in early 2025, along with a slate of other projects that also saw delays, which will be available via Amazon Prime and .
