My name is Iain and I own Dj Iain’s mobile disco.
I’m in my element mixing and playing music and watching people having a great night! I’m an exceptional mixing Dj I’ve been told and you can hear my mixes on the links below. But I’m not just a mixing Dj, I’m also confident on the microphone and I’m a fun, friendly party Dj who plays requests and entertains everybody!
I’ve always had a passion for music and I was a bedroom Dj for many years and during this time I learned to mix from my Dj Coach and best friend Lee Jackson (aka Danceman99 on Mix Cloud) using his top of the range Pioneer CDJ nexus 900s. This encouraged me to give up my biking hobby to allow me to buy my own Pioneer XDJ RX decks. These have been my pride and joy, but I do plan to upgrade these to the new Pioneer XDJ X2 decks very soon.

Owning my own decks only emphasised my passion for music and entertaining others. However, having a full time job as a truck driver made this difficult to pursue. During this I created my DJ Trucker page, which has now been converted to my business page (LINK), where you will be able to find a range of live videos and mixes created by myself.
My mixes are of my preferred genre of music which is techno and dance music.
I offer an extremely versatile service ranging from a party dj to a dance Dj and i can play hits from the 1940s to the present day. I also do karaoke nights that get everyone singing and dancing and having fun!
Regardless of your choice of music or event type, I can guarantee you that I’ll put 100% into your party with my fun personality and I’ll play the music that you and your guests want to hear. I play requests and I’m very interactive.
Before starting DJ Iain’s Mobile Disco, I had the pleasure of working for Ashley Duncan within his very successful business Platinum Discos (LINK). He still gives me gigs to do for him as he knows I do a great job and he’s had excellent customer reviews back from his clients.
I learned a lot from my time with Ashley, the main thing he taught me was how to provide a top quality professional Dj service. He’s a perfectionist and he advised me on sound and lighting which is his speciality and on older music and party hits and how to be a fantastic party Dj.
His experience of 44 years was invaluable to me and has helped me so much.
I provide a top quality Dj experience which I learned from one of the best in the industry.

I will arrive to set up early and will make your party a memorable experience for both you and your guests. I will discuss with you what you would like musically and I’m happy to accept a playlist of some of your favourite songs and I’ll play requests on the night too.
